The cabinets were slam packed too.

"When did they do this? This is the sweetest fucking thing, I swear to God. I love them." I almost choked up from how sweet it was.

They remembered that we needed real food and had the entire house stocked with so many different options, it was like a food wonderland.

"Me too." Kat said with a smile. "Let's eat!"

She pulled out a few potatoes, while I grabbed a couple of steaks that I had seen in the fridge, along with some salad fixings. We were about to throw down in this kitchen. Of course, the usual music and dancing started when we doing any kind of chores, or job. Music was life.

As Bazzi blared through the bluetooth speaker, we cooked a full course meal, and settled down at the little nook at the end of the island to eat. We both devoured our meal like we hadn't eaten in ages.

Hell, maybe we hadn't...when was the last time that I ate? I honestly couldn't remember. I moaned when the first bite of steak hit my tongue, reveling in the flavor.

"Oh my GOD, that was amazing. I'm about to burst." I moaned afterwards.

My poor belly felt so bloated, and the food had made me even more tired than I already was.

"I'm going to bed. It's already," I looked at the clock on the stove. "2 a.m. Ugh, I have to be up by 6 so that I can get in the shower and get ready for my interview. Oh my God, I'm going to feel like shit. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good luck at your interview! I love you bitch!"

I waved behind me to Kat. "Love you more bitch!"

When I made it to Colby's room, I gathered Prissy off the couch and put her in the bed with me. I didn't expect her to stay because she can be temperamental but thankfully, she did, and curled up next to my chest. I was out almost as soon as my head hit the pillow.

It seemed like I had barely closed my eyes when I felt someone kissing my cheek.

"Goodmorning Love. It's time for you to get up. You slept through the alarm."

I bolted upright, nearly knocking Colby off the bed. "What time is it? I have to get in the shower! I can't be late!" He laughed at me.

"Chill babe, it's only 6:10. You've got plenty of time."

I heaved a sigh of relief and crawled out of the bed. "Okay, I love you, I'm getting in the shower. Are you gonna be asleep when I get out?"

He shook his head. "Nah, I'm gonna see you off first, then I'll sleep, but Elias will be keeping an eye on you today."

I smiled up at him. "Thank you." I replied, leaning up to press my lips to his.

"Of course. Now go." He turned me around and slapped my ass, while I yelped and laughed.

By the time I finished my shower, picked out the perfect business outfit, and finished my hair and makeup, it was almost 8.

"I have to go since I have to fight LA traffic. I love you."

I headed out the door, but was yanked back. It had me spinning in my heels, until I fell over in Colby's arms. I looked up at him and blew my formally perfectly done hair out of my face.

"Damn it Colby." I whined. "Now I have to redo my hair!"

He chuckled and stood me up. "No, you don't. It's still perfect. You look perfect. I might have to take advantage of this whole business look. It's kind of working for me. Who knew?"

I shivered a little as his eyes trailed down and back up my body. I loved this outfit but I didn't really find it all that sexy.

It was a basic white fitted button up blouse, unbuttoned just a little, tucked into a knee length black pencil skirt, and paired with basic black heels.

"Stop looking at me like that. I have to go, and I won't make it out of this room if you don't stop it."

He chuckled and pulled me close to him, pressing his lips to mine, and working his tongue against mine, leaving a fire burning in my belly. I was breathing heavily by the time he released me, and I was wondering how late I could be to the interview and still have the chance of them hiring me.

"Go." Colby growled out, staring at me hard.

Fuck. I need to go. I kissed him quickly, then all but ran out of the room, hearing him chuckling behind me.

The traffic wasn't as bad as I had anticipated so I pulled up to the brick colored 3 story building about 20 minutes earlier than expected. I took a few deep breaths, checked my makeup and hair in the mirror, then stepped out of the car, steadying myself in my heels. When I entered the glass doors, the building looked just like I expected.

Framed posters on the grey walls of several famous books that Prospect had dealt with, a white couch sitting in the middle of the room, with a white chair to match. It was set off with a silver grey shag carpet along the hardwood floors, and grey end tables to match. Very classy, but somehow still kind of homey.

I noticed the chipper looking blonde at the front, near the doors, sitting behind her carved out section of the room. It wasn't a desk, but more of a counter, with her desk and things sitting behind it.

"Hi, can I help you?" She chirped up at me, from her seat.

It was too early to be that damn chipper, but I gave her my best smile.

"Yes, I'm here to see Mr. Roberts. I have a 9 a.m. appointment."

She started clicking away at her mouse, before looking back up at me. "Yes, I'll let him know that you're here. Would you like anything while you wait? A water, a diet soda, coffee?"

I would kill for an energy drink right now, but instead I nodded. "I'll take a water please."

Anything to soothe my dry throat. I think my nerves were soaking up all of the hydration in my system.

She smiled and nodded, reaching behind her to a little mini fridge, and grabbing a small bottle of water.
