Part 10 - Can they move on?

She reached her flat and saw Ved is carrying Riya in his arms.

Priya: - Thank you Ved for taking care of Riya...she hurriedly takes Riya in her arms...I am going to my room.

Ved: - One-minute Priya...Priya stops in her track...I know that you will pay no interest to speak about it but I will wait for your answer.

Priya said nothing to this and turn to go after saying.... Don't wait for me I am not going to office today.

Ved left to his flat without saying anything.

In the office,

Rishi: - Its 10:30 and Priya has not come yet. He walks towards Ram's cabin when peon comes out from Ram's cabin saying "Sir has not come today yet".

Rishi (thinks): - Usually Sir comes early. Both Sir and Priya are not in office is it just a mere coincidence or something else. Let's see.

In Priya's house,

She gets freshen up and having her coffee sitting near the window when Ved entered.

Ved: - Hello, what are you thinking Priya.

Priya turns and saw Ved...She gets up from the place and goes near him.

Priya: - Hello, didn't you go to office today?

Ved sarcastically: - Nowadays you are very busy...You hardly get time to talk to me and sometimes you don't even come home so I took leave to discuss with you on recent changes in your life.

Priya: - Ved...Please don't start now.

Ved: - I know where you were last night. Didn't you think about Riya once at least? I am not questing you but just see how you are handling things. Your past should not impact your present.

Priya: - I don't know where my life is heading towards but I can say that Ram and you are playing with my life.

Ved holding her both arms and asked "I am playing with your life...really Priya...We were happy till Ram enter your life again. Everything is changed now you are hiding things from me and you are avoiding me if I ask you anything saying I am playing with your life".

It's Ram who is playing with your life and you know why?? He held her strongly making her to look at him.... because you are allowing him to play with you.

Priya shrug off his hand, release herself from his grip and said..." Haan may be...maybe I am allowing him. I know that he is venting out his anger on me. He wanted to see me hurt and if seeing me in pain makes him happy then I am fine after all I left him all alone".

Ved: - Then what are you going to do? You can't just let him play with your emotions you need to put an end to it.

Priya: - I don't have any answer for it...Her eyes welled up with tears.

Ved feel bad for her and take her into side hug "Hey! You are a strong women. Everything will be alright".

Priya wipes her tears. I am sorry Ved, you are a true friend who will support even in hard times. I should have said that to you. Out of frustration I over reacted and scolded you.

Ved: - Hey Priya it's okay! Don't be so formal. You take rest...I will see you evening in the park.

Priya: - Thank you. Sure.

Ram also did not go to office spending his time playing with Ayaan and Ishaan. Juhi is still angry with him.

Ram: - Ayaan and Ishaan you complete this puzzle...I am coming in a minute...saying this he knock the Juhi's room door.
