lol um so... ya I haven't updated like I said I was going to. My bad. So you know I'm a procrastinating butt so I never really got back to my stories. But now school is out. Yay! That means there will be more chances for me to write and maybe to actually write. So sorry. I'll try to be more consistent, but I won't make any promises this time.

Bye

Chapter 8

Everyone was still trying to recover from losing Kai. He wasn't there for long, but he was still gone forever. He would never be coming back.

Classes for that week were canceled for the students for their mental health and well being. No spoke of Kai. It was too hard. His funeral was to be at the end of the week. They couldn't find any relatives of his, so it would only be them at the funeral.

It rained hard that day. Everyone was soaked, even with their umbrellas. They all sat in a long silence remembering the kid who left their lives as quickly as he came into them. The black coffin was buried and so was the life of Aiden Kai. All eyes watched the final bit of dirt being placed on top of Kai's grave. Even the pair of purple eyes in the trees. Purple eyes connected with a head of bushy red hair. Then connected to a knowing grin. He wouldn't be gone for too long.

I left my funeral and headed back towards the city. I went to the tallest building in range and went to the top. I sat on the ledge and waited. The girl who killed me said they were always watching so they were bound to know where I was now. Soon enough, the same girl popped through a misty portal of sorts. She smiled and walked over.

"Hello! Sorry for killing you earlier!" She skipped over and sat next to me. "I am Mia by the way. What would you like to be called now?"She turned to look at me knowing full well that my name couldn't stay the same.

"Hmm... I haven't really thought about it yet. How about we go with... Aishi."

"I like that! AI means to love and SHI means death. Ohhhhhh. Now I want to kill something!"

"I'm ok as long as I'm not what your killing." I smiled. Mia might be a little psychotic but she was nice to talk to. "So what did you guys want with me anyways?"

"Right! I completely forgot about that part. I tend to get sidetracked easily."

Mia made me follow her to an alleyway not too far from where we were.

"We wish for you to join us. For you to fight with us. To become an ally. Friend. And what we hope... family."

Three figures stepped out of the shadows. A boy, older than me but still young, stepped forward first. Then afterwards a tall woman in her mid-twenties. Lastly a boy my age with a very feminine physique but still having a dangerous and rough aura.

"Nice to finally meet you."
