Not So Sweet A Torture

Start from the beginning

It's killing me.

Being forced to lay here and take the abuse. Hearing them say things like "I've got a new state of the art extraction kit I've yet to try out" or "how much blood can she lose before flatlining?" Talking about what they're gonna do to me with full intention of it freaking me out and messing with my head. But I have to be strong until the turtles come and save me. I only have to hold out until then.

Another punch lands on my jaw, and I whimper after my head snaps to the side. That one was Scott. And he landed it right on the jaw with Karai's double-cut across it.

I don't know whose blows are worse what with Karai's armored hands and how much force Scott puts into his attacks.

It hurt like hell; burning, tearing and bruising my skin and gums, but I can tell my jaw didn't break. Somehow. Karai hadn't even taken the syringe out yet, it hurting on its way out as much as it did going in.

Blood dripped down from my jaw onto my neck, one of many wounds reopening from the blunt force trauma. The smell assaults my senses with a fresh scent of a metallic-y iron reminder of where I am and the strain my body's going through.

I never got any sleep last night... at least I think it's 'last night' by now. It feels like it. But I've been awake ever since I woke up so long ago, most likely a whole day ago. Not only that but I haven't eaten or had anything to drink since before I left the lair. Though I doubt they'd cut me loose for a bathroom anyway. Thank God I didn't drink much on my date with Leo.

Leo.

Once again the thought of him running across my brain brings about more yearning for him to come save me. To get me out of here. But it's even more desperate by now; the time I've had with them only making me want to get away more.

The stinging doesn't subside as Karai cleans the needle off while walking back to the table. I pant as if my lung function could give out at any second. When she sets the empty syringe down that's when I first notice the other untouched ones beside it. It's too hard to tell what else is on the table from this distance and while trying to keep my eyes open.

"You could end this all right now. Just tell me what I wanna know."

I blink once, slowly, trying not to make it seem like I'm about to fall asleep again. I don't have any intention of saying anything to her. If I do I know it'll be something smart aleck like before, and I can't give them any more reasons to believe I need another beating or electric shock.

"Oh, that's right. You don't know where it is that you live!" She snaps her fingers as if she forgot, but obviously suspects my lying. And I might be. But she doesn't know that for sure. I only wish I had a more convincing argument. "That's too bad... I guess we'll have to make you remember."

She turns to Scott who's wiping off my blood from his knuckles. "Plug it up." A vile grin tugs at the side of his mouth. He doesn't hesitate to put the cloth aside and stride to the corner of the room that's behind me, out of my sight. After a moment a whirring sound starts from the direction of my right side behind me, at the same time the lights in this poorly illuminated room flicker, and come back a bit dimmer than they had shone before.

"Looks like we'll get to use it after all."

Raph's POV

"Leo, take it easy." Mikey, Donnie and I trail Leo back into the lair. I note his darting eyes focusing all around the room– checking to see the off chance Y/n had come back while we were gone. But it's just as silent as it was when we left.

"No, we're not going to 'take it easy' as long as Y/n is out there with some psychopath who is trying to keep her from being found."

"We don't know if that's what's happening," Donnie says for the twelfth time.
