This Is Where It All Started

"What are you wearing couz? You're like some sunshine spit."

I snorted but then decided to laugh my ass off when I realized what my cousin had just commented.

"You and your words, Grey. Sunshine spit? Bakit naman? Hindi ba maganda ang dress ko?" I asked him and did some fancy twirl in front of the mirror. "Chelsea said it looks good on me."

"Chelsea doesn't know a sh it, dude."

I pouted at him in response. I just bought my pretty yellow sundress and a cutesy pair of sandals the other day, sayang naman kung papalitan ko lang nang dahil lang sa ridiculous comment niya.

'And besides...summer naman ngayon ah. Isn't yellow the color of summer?'

"I'm just saying...too much...yellow? You look like a freaking scrambled egg too," he added, before flopping down on my bed. "Look at me. I am not even trying but f u ck do I look good!"

I was about to retort when he wiggled his brows and showed his abdomen to me.

Gods. Nauwi na lang tuloy ako sa pag-ikot ng aking mga mata sa wala niyang kwentang pagkatao.

He, walking around the house---shirtless, made me want to wish that he would go back to his chubby- slash-cutie self already. I was so done seeing the cocky curly monster side of him who had been obsessing and parading his newly made chiseled abs for everyone to see and salivate.

'Ugh. Teenagers and their constant need to feed their vanity.'

Dapat hindi ko na siya pinasama kay Cole sa pag gy-gym.Naging ganoon tuloy siya ka-conceited. 

"Dude, don't tell me you have a date? Can I come? Si Pierre ba?"

"Nope. Hindi si Vincent. That guy is too intense for my taste...but anyway, f.y.i., wala akong date. As if naman my brother would let me. Si Levi lang naman kikitain ko," I informed him. "He said he'll  show me something eh."

"Levi?" Grey asked. Hinarap ko siya nang makita kong tinukod niya ang siko niya sa kama para lang tingnan ako.

"Yeah? Why?" I asked because he sounded confused."You wanna come?"

Kumunot ang noo niya at inilabas niya ang phone mula sa bulsa niya. "Cole just texted me before I went here and..."

"And?"

"He said Levi's with their dad. May emergency meeting or whatever dude. Dapat kasi mag ra-race kami today with Levi but yeah...you still want to go? I can drive you there."

I stared at him, deadpanned. "You don't have your license yet, Grey." I reminded him.

'Alam kong marunong na siyang mag drive and all but da mn, I won't entrust him with my life just yet.'

Ngumisi naman sa akin ang pinsan ko at tumayo  na sa kama. He walked towards the door and cockily said, "Well, I have plenty of money to pay if we're caught on the road, which will definitely not happen, I assure you dude. So...come on. I'll just drop you there and I'll be off with Cole, don't worry."
