I smiled and looked back again at my reflection.

Actually, I didn't buy the dress myself. Mommy made some personal orders from the Saab couture just for that day. Hindi naman kasi ako papayag na local boutique lang ang gagawa ng dress ko, lalo na't may ininvite kaming mga tao from the media to cover the entire event.

Those poor people really didn't know a thing about expensive stuff. Akala siguro nila mapapalitan miski ng buong kikitain nila in their lifetime, if one single stone would be lost from my pendant.

"So where's the birthday girl?" Pumasok si Keira na may binabalanseng wine bottle at tatlong glasses sa mga kamay. She looked so gorgeous in her black dress! Malayo sa nakasanayan kong Keira na simple at tahimik! Nice!

"We can finally drink!" she said as we rose up to our feet and get ourselves our glasses from her. She's all smiles like Chelsea, but I knew that Keira was more genuine than the other.

"Handle what? I think I already drank every alcohol in my dad's collection, K." I said, laughing.

I knew that Keira just said that out of sarcasm, but I still wanted to brag about my level of expertise in terms of alcohol drinking to them.

"But not this wine. I stole it from kuya Seabass. I bet it is the oldest in his collection."

Pinaalis ko na ang lahat ng maids at make-up artists na nag-ayos sa akin. I needed a moment with my girls before I came down there and start my party.

Gods. I couldn't believe too that Keira did it! Sinabi niya lang sa amin 'to a week before, but I really didn't expect that she got the guts!
