Chapter 28

Calypso's POV
I was on the way home from the beach when I got a call from Percy.

"Hey Caly."

"Hey Percy! Missed you at the beach."

"Yeah. Sorry. Had to do some uh, stuff. Anyway, can we talk?"

I chuckled. "Are we not right now?"

I could picture him pouting on the other side of the phone.

"Haha very funny. Facetime me when you get home."

"Uh, ok. Bye."

"Bye."

Silena looked over her shoulder as she drove. "Who was that?"

"Percy."

Silena gave a small nod in return.

Once we pulled up onto my driveway, I got out of the car.

"Thanks Silena! Bye Rach, bye Pipes."

I quietly opened the front door, knowing my parents would already be asleep.

The lights were all off, so I hurriedly ran upstairs to my room.

I got ready for bed and such, showered, changed clothes, and I hopped into bed.

I grabbed my computer and started to Facetime Percy.

After only one ring, he immediately answered.

"Hey Caly."

"Hey Percy. What did you want to talk about?"

The look on his face told me enough.

"Oh dear Percy. What did you do?"

He pouted. "Why do you think that?"

I rolled my eyes. "Percy, I've known you since we were... 14? 15? We're how old now? I know how to read you."

He didn't say anything for a few seconds before sighing.

"I uh, made a mistake."

"I already knew that. Elaborate."

"I went to Annabeth's house and may have revealed to both of us that we were actually soulmates and left without talking about it."

I literally facepalmed. "Oh dear."

I heard crying in the background and Percy cursed under his breath. "Gotta go take care of Estelle. Bye."

He hung up and it was silent once again.

I quietly got ready for bed and drifted off to sleep.

I heard my alarm beep loudly and clicked the snooze button once again.

I began drifting off to sleep when I hastily grabbed my phone and looked at the time.

I was so sleepy, I clicked the snooze button nearly 5 times.

I sprang out of bed and quickly got ready.

I ran downstairs, sighing in relief when I saw no one was home.

I glanced at the clock and cursed under my breath.

I only had five minutes till school started and it takes me 10 to get there.

I grabbed an apple and ran to my car, stepping on the gas.

After speeding a few miles above the speed limit, I got to school 3 minutes after the bell rang.

I ran into the hallway and still saw some people roaming the halls, but most already in class.

One of the teachers in the hallway looked at me and gave me a dirty look, at which I was tempted to return.

I shook my head before stupidly barged into my classroom.

"-esterday and I've decided that-." The teacher noticed me and scoffed before continuing. "-We will have a test over what we learned over the past week. Today I will allow everyone to do study hall. Class disperse."

Everyone started getting up and the teacher gave me one last look before going to her desk.

I sighed, not really affected of this behavior from teachers anymore, before leaving and going to study hall.
