T'Challa nods as M'Baku returns to the papers on the table.

"She's not: she's been in her room all day."

The young warrior salutes to T'Challa and he raises an eyebrow.

T'Challa walks off and Shuri frowns. She'll talk to you at dinner.

"M'Baku and T'Challa think it's because I spent the day with Dakarai."

"Look, if you don't want anything to do with Jovan romantically I suggest you avoid her."

Shuri steers clear of you, furthering your heartbreak and you stay in your room. You refused to come out and M'Baku is worried about you. He knocks on the door, waiting for you to answer.

M'Baku hates seeing you like this but you just sigh and sit next to him.

M'Baku chuckles and rubs your back.
"No jabari girl can match you the way Shuri can."
You grunt.
"I'm going to bed."

"They leave tomorrow."

The next time Shuri sees you, you are in a matching outfit to M'Baku and have shaved the sides of your head. She sees you have traditional jabari tattoos on your arm in white.

You turn and Shuri walks over to you. She hugs you and you blink before returning it.
"Hey, Shuri."
Shuri smiles at you before tiptoeing and kissing your cheek making you grin.
"I missed you," she whispers softly, hugging you close.

"Can we..."
"Cuddle tonight? Absolutely."
She smiles as you kiss her softly before walking off.

Shuri enters your room and you are reading. She climbs into your lap and you chuckle, kissing her forehead as she settles between your legs.
"I was upset when you ignored me," you murmured.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
"I know but it still hurt. And it doesn't help I'm stubborn."
Shuri giggles as she kisses your cheek. You smile, holding her close as you put the book to the side and pull the blanket up.
"Next time you ignore me I'm throwing you over the falls."
Shuri laughs as she kisses your cheek.
"No you wouldn't."
"True true."
She smiles as she kisses you again.
"Keep kissing me like that and I will eat you out."
Shuri blushes as you kiss her.
"Jabari women are so blunt."
You laugh as you kiss her again.
"I love you Jovan."
You blink and Shuri blushes as you smile.
"I love you, too Shuri."
She cuddles you as you turn the lights off. She could get used to this.
