The Dark

Your POV

After we checked out of our hotel we headed down route 32 (correct me if I'm wrong)  we came across some trainers.

" Hey!! Oldy moldy people!!" Some kid shouted out, two kids actually but one was on her phone.

I swear I could see Silver's eyes darken, and a tick mark appears.

" WHO YOU CALLING OLD BRAT!!??" Silver yelled as I held him back.

" You, obviously! What are you, stupid?" The kid retorted sticking out his tongue

"GET OVER HERE SO I CAN BEAT YOU TO THE GROUND!!" It was taking all of my power to hold him back.

" Child abuse." The kid smirked and the girl looked up from her phone and laughed, before continuing to look at her phone.

" Just to be clear your not calling me old right?" I called over to the kids

" Nah you're cool Lady." The boy smiled at me.

Which made Silver even angrier...

" SHUT UP BRAT I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I AM 17!!" Silver yelled other trainers were starting to crack up

" I'm 17 and way more fabulous than this idiot will ever be!" I shouted over Silver.

The girl looked up and shouted back.  " yaaaaassssss queen!"

" Wooo I have support!!" I yelled in victory.

" Can you let go of me so we can go? " Silver was looking at me like he was about to tear off the kid's heads.

" Yeah, we should probably go before you get taken to jail for murder." I let go of him and held onto his hand to keep him in line.

We walked for a while till we came to a cave. " Crapppp..." I groaned

"Huh? What's up?" Silver looked at me, wondering why I groaned.

" N-nothing!" I responded quickly.

" Um.."

I pulled him into the cave before he could respond.

Which was a mistake...

Immediately a Zubat swooped down at me from the top of the cave

"EEEEEE!!"  I shrieked in fear

I crouched down onto the ground putting my hands over my head.

" (Y/n)?? " I heard Silver ask still not gaining enough courage to take my hands off my face.

" What?"

" Um... Why did you... Scream at one of the weakest, most annoying Pokemon..? " He asked

" Promise you won't laugh?" I peeked at him through my jacket.

" Yeah, I guess..."

" I'm afraid of Zubats... And the dark..."

There was a moment of silence

I peeked up at Silver again.

He was stifling a laugh

" HEY, YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T LAUGH!" What a jerk!

"I-I'm sorry but-but I just-you HAHAHHAHA!!" Silver laughed so hard tears were coming to his eyes

" Fine! See if I care!" I stormed off hands clenched to my side

That was my second big mistake.

Am I an idiot?

I am afraid of the dark!

And I just walked off... Into a cave.......alone...

" I'm such an idiot!!"

I turned around in the opposite direction intending to walk back to Silver...

Which way am I supposed to go again?
