Chapter 26
Lora's POV:
We watched as Lora left with the group of witches, heading towards a battle that would change most of our lives.
"Okay let's get into groups people!" I heard Marcus say.
We all separated, vampires one side werewolves the other. Marcus started dividing us into different teams to go to different places around the school. Some had to stay at the dinning area, some had to go in twos and spread around the area behind the school, and then there's my group.
My group, which consist out of me, Chad, Rory, Jake, Manie, Josh and a few others, were the one's that had to confront Eviliny's army.
I was nerves as hell but I was able to control myself and act normal. My group and I spread across the trees that were situated about a few miles from the school; we were all in battle mode. Silent and fast as light, I could feel my fangs trying to come out but I pulled them back. Even though I don't need blood to survive, my fangs still come out if danger is near.
We all stood hidden in the trees, waiting .... Waiting for a battle to come
Suanna's POV:
I walked into the weird looking forest, even though we were on an island, the trees and woods around it looked like a normal forest. I could hear John and his men's footsteps behind me.
While walking I couldn't help but think of what changed John's mind, why the sudden change of heart?
We walked for about 15 minutes and then I stopped, I felt someone walk into me but I stood as still as a rock.
"Ow! Next time warn us when you're stopping!" I head someone from behind me whisper/yell.
"Shh" I hushed and everyone around me went still and silent, I closed my eyes and concentrated on listening, trying to find something out of the ordinary.
I could hear owls cooing, the animals move around, trying to be silent, a buzz of a fly a few feet away from me, the people around me heartbeats, but nothing out of the usually. I stayed like that listening carefully for a few minutes until I heard a slashing sound. I concentrated harder and heard it again.
It came from the shore, the same place Karen said Eviliny and he men would be waiting for us. I opened my eyes and took in a deep breath.
"They're here." I said bluntly. I know to them I sounded bored with this situation, but it was the only way to keep all the emotions away and hidden.
I heard them take a sharp intake of breath and all nodded.
"All of you spread out around this area, be in groups of two's." I ordered giving them all a hard look, even though it was dark I knew they would be able to tell what my expression was, just by listening to my tone.
"Anna, we can't leave you alone." I heard John whisper from next to me. I sighed.
I was about to say something when I heard footsteps behind us, I abruptly turned around ready to fire a power bolt.
"It's me, Constantine."
Just then Constantine and his men appeared, I arched an eyebrow at them in question.
"We're here to help; now all of you listen to her. My men and I will be by her side." he said sternly, I couldn't help but huff and look at the other witches behind me.
"Guys please listen to me, if you want to help me, then help the others. Constantine and his men will be with me while you guys spread out and climb up the trees. We've all learnt the spells we should use in battle, use them wisely. And like I said to the group at school, killing is the last resort, try and restrain them and teleport them to the school's basement. They'll be locked there."
