"The Very Strict Mother of Russia" is a story about Svetlana, a woman from Russia who marries a man named José in Portugal. Svetlana has four stepchildren: Duarte, Tomás, Estefânia, and Rute. She is very strict and wants to make big changes in their house. At first, the children are not sure about her. Some of them think she is too strict, while others are excited to meet her. Svetlana wants the children to follow the rules, and she doesn't like it when they break them. This story is about family, new beginnings, and how Svetlana's strict ways change everyone's life. Will the children learn to love her? Will they accept her rules?

She was a girl that had been through enough heartbreak to last her a lifetime. Love and trust didn't come that easily but with him, she seemed to feel safe since the very beginning.
