Chapter 9

Suanna POV:

Biology and English went by in a blur, Chad was always with me, and he seamed to be enjoying the lessons. After English I had cooking class, the only class Lora and I had.

When I got in class I could see Lora already by one of the kitchen counters that had a stove, when she saw me she smiled and I could feel her opening our link.

*How's school so far?* I herd her say in my head in a very excited and happy voice, I shrugged, *So, so and your side?* I asked, she just smiled, *Oh it was awesome! You have no idea what I learnt* she said by this time I was standing next to her, and I could see she was eager to tell me, *Oh really and what you learn?" I asked smiling at her; Lora looked so cute when she was happy.

*Well I found out that almost all vampires have likes these powers like Karen has the power of knowledge, well yea about 60% of vampires have like powers and I just found out what mine was!* she said so excited and happy that if she could she would happy dance, I just laughed and hugged her, *Awesome what's your power?* I asked curious, maybe she has the gift of knowledge just like Karen. She smiled at me, *How about I show you* she said with a smirk, by this time everyone was in the class and what do you know, Marcus's the cooking teacher.

He was telling us to do anything we wanted, for us to be creative and use most of the ingredients on the table, which were different spices , a piece of raw beef the size of both my fists together and different veggies chopped in little cube like shape and only one frying pan. Lora was always the one that was good at cooking; I was usually the one that chocked and gave her the ingredients.

"I totally know what we going to make!" Lora said excitedly, "Um correction what you going to make, I'll just watch and help." I said, "Well any way I'm going to cut the beef in little pieces, and fry it in the frying pan and just put some veggies." she said getting everything ready around her while I stepped aside, "Okay, you want me to cut the meet?" I asked taking the big kitchen knife, "Na" she said, when I looked at her I saw her smirking and looking and the knife.

*Ah, Lora what you doing* I mentally asked her, *Trying to show you my power* I herd her say, then suddenly the knife wasn't in my hand but flying towards Marcus, "NOOOO!! STOP!!" I herd Lora yelled and just then the knife stopped about half an inch from Marcus's face, and then fell. That instant I saw Lora hiding behind the counter and Marcus walking to wards our counter, I couldn't help but laugh. You should have seen Marcus's face.

Marcus walked up to my table, "Miss Lora" Marcus said in a very serious tone, I saw Lora slowing getting up and with a guilty smile on, "Miss Lora what is the meaning of this!?" he said pointing at the knife, "Um well funny story, you see Anna was about to use it but I didn't want her to so I kind of um used my gift to get it out of her hand, but it didn't go as I excepted." she said looking at me for help, I had to muffle my laugh with a cough.

I herd Marcus sigh, "Okay fine, since your new, your not aloud to use your powers in cooking class and I'll let this pass, do it again and you'll get detention." he said to Lora in a serious voice, and with that she nodded and he left our table, After he left I couldn't help but look at the now blushing Lora with a smirk on my face.

*Anna, don't even say a word!" I herd her say in my mind, *ME? I wasn't going to say anything.* I said to her in an amused tone, "So that was your power* I asked her nudging her shoulder with my shoulder, she looked at me smiled and nodded.

Through out cooking class I told her about my dream and about what Karen told me this morning. Lora was stunned and shocked, but she composed herself, *Looks like our bodyguards can't take their eyes off us* Lora said annoyed, I looked in the direction she was looking at and yea she was right, Arthur and Chad were staring at us like we were hiding something, I started back Chad just smirked, ugh! And Arthur just kept staring at Lora with kind and loving eyes.... hmm interesting.
