Part Two of Priestess

Erik growls at the collar. He hates it but it's better than death and prison. Shuri has created it and its prevent Erik from attacking anyone. T'Challa and Shuri are the only two who can remove the collar.

You are tending the plants when you hear footsteps.

"T'Challa. What do you need?"

"Not T'Challa."

You look up and give Erik an unimpressed look.

"Killmonger."

"Erik. I don't like being called by my last name."

You give him a blank look and raise an eyebrow.

"What do you need Erik?"

"Do you need help?"

You raise an eyebrow, surprise in your eyes.

"Help?"

"I got tired of staying in my room and working out."

"Ah. Come."

He follows behind you and notices you are wearing loose white shorts and a black crop top. He sees your arms are tatted and that you have a nice size Afro.

"You see this?" You hold up a damaged herb.

The herb is a deep purple and gives off a slight smell.

"These herbs are no good and therefore neither is that plant. Remove them and place them in the bag."

"That's all?"

"We do use the herb for something else but first they must be removed."

Erik nods and begins to work. He looks over and sees you are busy checking the plants. He does the same.

You put the damaged herbs and their plant in the bowl. Erik watches as your hands glow and you begin to crush them. You remove your hands and clean them before crushing them further with the mortar. He watches as it becomes a liquid.

"The rum please."

He hands you The bottle and watch as you pour it in. You mix it together before pouring it into a big bottle.

"It is a medicinal remedy. Traditional. When Wakanda was still young, it was believed that drinks mixture of the impure herb and rum could cure any ailment."

"Kinda like how tea solves everything?"

You laugh.

"My mother, she is Trinidadian and Wakandan, would say that too. Tea cures everything but yes."

"But I assume most don't believe that anymore?"

"Oh we do. It actually helps one immune system. It's amazing how people think it doesn't. Granted it won't cure cancer but it helps. Here, take a sip."

"I don't—"

"You are getting sick. Your eyes hold tiredness to them."

Erik blushes but obeys, drinking the mixture. He coughs and you touch his forehead.

"Rest. You haven't been sleeping."

"No."

"What is wrong?"

Erik looks at you. You motion him to follow you and he does. He follows you to the floor above the garden. It's your living space. Erik looks in awe at the decor. It's traditional meet modern.

"Sit. I'll make you some tea."

He sits and you set to making tea. You return moments later and hand him a mug. You two are in the couch.
