~ Grammar Focus:
에 is also added to nouns that indicate time and expresses the time when some action, event, or situation occurs. It corresponds to ‘at’ or ‘on’ in English. 에can also combine with the particles 는 and 도 to form 에는 and 에도.
Of the nouns that indicated time, 에 cannot be added to 그제(=그저께) (the day before yesterday), 어제(=어저께)(yesterday), 오늘(today), 내일(tomorrow), 모레(the day after tomorrow), or 언제(when).
· 어제에 친구를 만났어요. (x) → 어제 친구를 만났어요. (o) I met my friend yesterday.
· 내일에 영화를 볼 거예요. (x) → 내일 영화를 볼 거예요. (o) I plan to see a movie tomorrow.
· 언저에 일본에 가요? (x) → 언제 일본에 가요? (o) When will you go to Japan?
In Conversation:
A 보통 몇 시에 자요? A What time do you normally go to sleep? B 보통 밤 11시에 자요. B I usually go to sleep at 11:00 P.M.
A 언제 고향에 돌아갈 거예요? A When will you go back to your hometown? B 내년 6월에 돌아갈 거예요. B I plan to go back in June of next year.
A 주말에 시간이 있어요? A Do you have time on the weekend? B 네, 주만에 시간이 있어요. B Yes, I have time on the weekend.

When more than one noun representing time is used in a sentence, then 에 is added to the final noun only.
· 다음 주에 토요일에 오존에 10시 30분에 만나요. (x) → 다음 주 토요일 오전 10시 30분에 만나요. (o) Let’s meet next Saturday at 10:30 A.M.
