Now we go with Consonants (자음).

In the case of the Consonants, ㅇ(who is a silent place holder in the Vowels) will become ~ㅇ(ng) eung in the consonant.

Hangeul ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ ㅁ ㅂ ㅅ ㅈ ㅎ Romanization g/k n d/t r/l m b/p s j h Normal Sound 가 나 다 라 마 바 사 자 하 ga na da la ma ba sa ja ha

Hangeul ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅊ Romanization k t p ch Aspirated 카 타 파 차 kah tah pah chah (all with the airy ‘h’ sound)

Hangeul ㄲ ㄸ ㅃ ㅆ ㅉ Romanization gga dda bba ssa jja Tensed 까 따 빠 싸 짜 ka ta pa sa ja (all w/ strong plain sound)

Except forㅅ. If ㅅ has a vowel of ‘Y’ then it is pronounced as ‘Sh’. And for ㅉ will have a sound like ‘th’
