Schist.

Just...

Schist.

Dad looked at me expectantly.

What the Hades am I supposed to say to that?

"Well?"

I sighed. "I didn't want to come back. Never have. Not in all those five years have I ever wanted to come back here."

Hey. It's the truth.

A watered down, edited version of the truth.

But still the truth.

Hey Perce. What did you want?

Oh thank you Chaos.

Uh Luke? Kinda in a situation here. Help.

What's going on?

I'm undersea with my dad. You tell me what you think is going on.

Do you want me to come? Screw it I'm coming anyway.

No!

I said screw it Percy! I'm coming there whether you want me there or not!

"Percy?" Dad lightly shook me.

"What?" I tilted my head.

"You zoned out again."

There was a noise beside us as Luke appeared.

And subsequently started to drown.

Cause guess what genius decided to try to breathe?

I pulled away from Dad and pressed my lips to Luke's, trying to keep him from panicking.

And I formed an air bubble around us.

"What part of undersea did you not understand?" I pulled away as he coughed up water.

He blushed and sheathed his sword. "Shut up."

Then he finally decided to transform into a merman.

"Thank you." I sighed, letting the air bubble disappear.

He chuckled, wrapping his golden tail around my ankles.

"Why do you have to be so dam tall?"

"I don't know. But I don't think I'll ever get used to a tail."

What's the situation?

Why Omega and not me.

I kept it brief. No need for them to think that I'm having a conversation or anything.

"You are Alpha I presume?" Amphitrite asked.

He nodded. "That's me."

You know what? I think I'm going to shift back to a tail.

And I did so.

"Hey sis? Here's a question. Is there a reason that his tail is pure gold while yours is speckled?"

I chewed my bottom lip. "I don't really know."

Bet you could guess.

"How about you two sit? I know it's tiring to hold yourself in that position." Dad said, directing it more towards Luke than me.

"Thank you." Luke sat on the opposite couch.

I quickly followed, leaning into his side. And then he wrapped an arm around me which was probably not the best choice.
