KADE's POV

"Do you think she'll love it?"

Napalingon ako kay Erika. She's holding a baby pink pajama dress. Si Karisse naman ay busy sa kakatingin ng mga rattles at iba pang baby toys.

"Erika, you don't have to buy her everything." Sabi ko sa kanya.

Paano ba naman kasi, halos kumpleto na ang gamit ni baby pero hindi pa din tumitigil sila Mom, Erika at Cassie sa kakabili ng kung ano-ano para sa mag-ina ko. Hindi naman masyadong halata na excited sila sa paglabas ng baby.

Pero kahit ano pa yata ang sabihin ko, they won't stop doing it. "Whatever, I'm excited for my niece to come out." Erika said, completely ignoring what I said then she put the pajama in her cart.

"How about this, Tito?" Karisse grabbed my attention. She was holding a small bunny stuffed toy in her hands.

I gave her a smile. "Yes, Karisse. You can go ahead and give that to your baby cousin."

The little child's eyes glow with joy as she put the toy in the pushcart. Kahit ano pa ang gawin ko, I couldn't stop them from indulging in buying stuff for Hanna.

I ran into them here in the mall. Erika seems really close with her daughter, something that I admire about her. Mag-isa lang sya na nagpalaki kay Karisse at itinago nya sa lahat ang tungkol sa anak nya. She's really a strong woman and all of us in the family admire her for that.

The three of us part ways after we let Karisse eat some ice cream in a restaurant. Hindi na kami nakapag-kwentuhan pa ni Erika dahil baka hanapin ako ni Hanna.

It will be her due date five weeks from now.

Time really went fast and before we knew it, my daughter will be born. We all got busy in preparing for it. Hindi na nga namin na-celebrate ang birthday ko. Mom insisted in throwing a party but I just said that I'm old for that. I just chuckled, thinking how could an 18-year-old be a father in such a young age. But I'm already prepared in whatever life will give me.

I was busy driving when I heard my phone ringing. Agad ko itong sinagot. "Hello?"

"Naku Kade!" It was Nana, our househelp.

Instantly, I felt my heart beat fast because of nervousness. She sounded panicking. "Bakit po, Nana? Anong nangyari?"

"Si Hanna, manganganak na."

Napatapak ako sa preno at kaagad na nag u-turn para pumunta sa ospital. We all planned for this. Actually, ang parents ni Hanna ay pansamantalang nakatira sa bahay namin para kung sakaling may emergency man at wala ako, mayroon pa ding nakatatanda sa bahay. Hindi naman marunong magdrive ni Nana that's why I'm thankful that Hanna's parents are there to guide us.

Wala na akong pakialam kung balagbag ang pag-park ko sa kotse ko. Halos takbuhin ko na din papasok sa ospital. I walked straight to the Delivery Room, my heart still beating fast.

Nakita ko sa waiting area ng delivery room sila Papa at Mama. Malamang ay iniwan nila si Hunter kay Nana dahil hindi nila ito kasama. Mama hugged me and I knew that she felt that I'm shaking. "Kade, anak, kalma ka lang." She assured me.

"A-ano pong nangyari?" I asked them, confused.

Bago ako umalis ng bahay ay maayos pa si Hanna. She shouldn't be giving birth this early, it should be 5 weeks from now.
