HANNA's POV

It's been almost a week since I found out that there's a life blossoming inside of me. Nagsimula na din akong pumasok sa Hot Lion Restaurant bilang isang receptionist. Hindi naman naging mabigat ang trabaho ko dahil most of the time ay nakaupo lang ako. I would just assist guests to their tables. Other than that, wala na akong ibang ginagawa. Wala din naman akong balak ipaalam sa employer ko that I'm currently pregnant dahil baka ipatanggal ako sa trabaho. I have no one but myself kaya umaasa na lang ako sa sarili ko financially. I need this job bago pa man lumaki ang tyan ko para makapag-ipon ako.

It was 3pm when I got out of work. My shift is from 7am until 3 in the afternoon. Plano ko sanang pumunta sa mga maliliit na RTW clothing stores para sana bumili ng damit. I could feel the bust area of my shirts that are starting to get tight. Maybe because of my sensitive buds. Oo, nakakairita sa umpisa pero nasanay na din ako. This is the way my baby tells me that he really exists.

I smiled at the thought of it.

As I walk to the clothing store, I could not help but to get excited of me wearing a cute maternity dress. I could still wear jeans kaya naman hindi ko pa kailangan magsuot ng maternity dresses.

Pagpasok ko sa isang store na may main product na mga shirts, pumili kaagad ako. I chose different shades of pink. I don't know why, pero parang naoobsess na yata ako sa kulay na 'to.

I got a total of four shirts and three long-sleeved ones. All of them are pink.

Anak, bakit ba pink ang gusto mong ipasuot kay mommy?

Pagkatapos ko bumili ng mga damit, nagutom ako at bumili ng tahô na strawberry-flavored. Naglakad na lang ako papunta sa isang mall. Nabasa ko kasi na mabuti daw na exercise ang paglalakad. It's good for me and my baby.

I walked in a store, Enfant. There's a lot of baby stuff inside. Halos lumuwa ang mga mata ko sa dami ng mga gamit. Kung may pera lang ako, bibilihin ko na agad ang lahat ng gamit na makita ko.

Would you love this mittens, baby?

I asked using my mind while holding a pair of mittens. It was so soft and little. I am grasping it using my palm and imagining how small a baby's hand is.
