Chapter 65

A/N: I don't really have much time to write this past few weeks but I feel like I owe you guys a new chapter so here it is~

Perrie's POV

"Perrie why do you look at me? I can't focus when you look at me like that" Jade whined, trying to hide the small curls at the corner of her lips. Hmm someone stole my line

"Because you look soooo adorable. And how would you know I can't take my eyes off you if you aren't doing the same." I sent her a cheeky wink, making her already pink cheeks turned into crimson

"Say the one who looks so bloody cute in it" She mumbled shyly

"Aw have you looked at yourself? You a-"

"Enough you two. You are here to take a dip for charity, not to flirt with each other." Norma scolded, but hearing her tone, I knew she wasn't being serious

"Yes mam" We mumbled and looked down, but not even a second passed our gaze met again and exchanged a knowingly smile

"Auntie Jade! Auntie Perrie!" I chuckled when baby Karl ran and stood between us, grasping our hands, or should I say flippers as we were dressed as penguins

"Hello little boy" I watched in awe when Jade pat his head with her flipper, so I reciprocated her action, making baby Karl giggled

"Oh my god this is so cute! Imagine that's my grandson standing there! Aw my grandkids!"

I heard my mom squealed, followed by some snap sounds so I am sure she was taking pictures again, the umpteenth times today since we put on the outfits.

"You heard my mom. What do you think?" I asked, my lips split into a huge grin when I saw her bashful smile and flushed cheeks.

"You already known the answer" She muttered, I chuckled as she hit my chest with her flipper, and I found the gesture super cute.

"I can't wait for that day to come" I beamed

"Me either"

She had the sweetest smile on her face that did funny thing to my heart and melted my whole body. Okay I am more than ready to go into the icy cold water now

"You alright babe?" She asked attentively while we were taking off the penguin outfits and changed back into our own clothes

"I am good. You warm enough baba?" Once we finished, I immediately wrapped my arms around her body, rubbing up and down to warm her up

"Much better now" She hummed and encircled her arm around my waist

"Thank you for doing this with me Pez. It meant a lot" She pulled away slightly, her brown eyes gazed at me genuinely

"No problem baba. It is for a good cause and your aunt Norma. I will do this with you every year" I smiled.

"Thank you. I love you" She hugged me and kissed my cheek

"Anything for my princess. I love you too." I hugged her back and kissed the top of her head

We pulled away shortly and decided to leave the beach, as it's already noon and we needed to get ready for Jade's birthday party tonight. The paps were bombarding us with questions and camera light were flashing while we were walking hand in hand towards our cars.

"Jade and Perrie. When did you start dating?"

"Perrie, how long have you planned for the proposal?"

"Happy birthday Jade and congrats to your engagement with Perrie. How are you feeling right now?"

We smiled politely and remained silent to all the questions that were directed to our relationship instead of the meaning event. Being celebrities, we learned to better keep quiet than talk about any personal stuffs if we don't have to answer because the media could easily misinterpret our words or take them out of context, that's why we prefer to post things on our social media account to inform the public in our ways. Also, we are here for the charity today, so we didn't want the media to put the spotlight on us once we had given out any answer on our relationship.
