It's no secret that we want Jane the Virgin's Valentina Rivera and Marvel's Sebastian Stan to cross the lines from 'friends' to 'lovers', and have done ever since it was announced that Sebastian was the father of Valentina's baby nearly four months ago, but the truth is that we have absolutely no clue if it's going to happen― or if it's already happened, for that matter, and they're keeping it a secret from the rest of the world, which I respect. After all, the pair are parents now, and their main priority is raising their son, not publicly addressing the nature of their relationship.
Of course, that doesn't mean that us fans aren't constantly typing their names into Google to see if any new article pops up about their relationship. Especially since the couple seem to be throwing out one announcement after another.

Shortly after announcing that Stan was the father of Rivera's baby, the pair announced that Stan and his dog had moved into Rivera's apartment. So, it is entirely plausible that the pair will soon be announcing that they are together.
There are, of course, some sceptics amongst the actors' fans. There are those who believe the pair will never be more than friends, and those that believe that embarking on a romantic relationship will only result in the breakdown of their friendship― and would thus make raising their son together difficult.
Stan's last relationship was with The Deuce's actress Margarite Levieva, with whom he broke up just a month before he and Rivera first met― or, alternatively, just a month before their son was conceived.
Rivera hasn't been in a relationship for even longer. Her last relationship was with family friend Leo Pierce, who has gotten married in the four years since he and Rivera have split. She stated that she would be focusing solely on her career in an interview shortly after her break-up with Pierce.
No one can deny that the pair look wonderful together, and Rivera's Diego-related Instagram posts prove that they make beautiful children. Appearances aren't everything however, but it's clear that the pair make each other happy, which has been shown time and time again through social media comments and interview answers where the two could do nought more than gush about how wonderful the other is.
In my opinion, it's only a matter of time before the pair announce that they are a couple to the world, though it might not even be clear to them yet.
