Part 9; naive

"And she just came barging into your room... like a complete maniac?" Harry asked, taking another gulp of his drink.

"Yeah! I'm telling you, the girl is a lunatic." I retorted, also taking a sip through the multi coloured bendy straw that was placed in my drink. Our families had decided to stay another night, due to the fact that 1D's management had decided that the boys needed a little time to relax before hitting the road again as they prepared for their next tour. Harry and I were now beside the pool with the rest of the boys and a couple of their girlfriends; Becky and Chelsea had headed into town with their friend who had also decided to come up for the weekend, Sarah, as they hadn't seen her in a long while. Sarah wasn't one of the One Direction girlfriends, but she'd been to school with Zayn ever since they were little and so had practically grown up with him. Just like Harry and I, they had a bit of a special bond.

"Well that doesn't sound very much like Kate to me." Harry chucked, obviously trying to defend his girlfriend (or whatever it was that he liked to call her).

"I'm telling you, it was her."

Harry figured for a moment, placing his drink on the table beside us before coming the same conclusion that it wasn't his girlfriend that had barracaded her way into my hotel room exactly five hours ago.

"It can't be her, she isn't even in England at the moment. She's gone abroad to visit some cousins or something." Harry declared, picking his phone up from the table as it began to buzz loudly. I watched with narrow eyes as he slid his thumb along the bottom of the screen in order to receive the call.

"Oh, hey Kate... I was just talking about you, actually." Harry chuckled, shooting me a look as if daring me not to say anything, I went about pretending to zip my lips together, which only made him scowl a little before directing his gaze down to the floor.

"No, no. Everything's fine! I was just taking to the boys about how much I miss you, that's all."

Bullshit.

"I can't wait to see you either. Send your cousins my love, 'kay? Alright. See you later. Yep. Bye, bye. Love you too, silly."

God, this was painful.

Harry shook his head and pushed his mass of curls out of his eyes as he ended the call and shoved the phone into his pocket. I couldn't help but raise my eyebrow as I waited for him to fill me in on the conversation that had just taken place.

"She says she's gonna be back home later today." Harry grinned, picking up his drink from the glass table again while I continued to nurse whatever it was that was in the glass cup that I was clutching on to.

"Oh, that's a little convinent. Don't you think?"

"Shut up, Molly. The girl I'm seeing isn't some crazed bitch that goes around barging into people's hotel rooms!"

"Hmm. Well that's kind of what it looked like she was doing to me."

Harry scoffed as he took yet another gulp of his drink.

"It was probably just a fan or something."

This boy was in denial.

"And why would a fan act like that towards me?! You've seen how much people love me on Twitter..."

"Look, I don't know Molly! But can you just drop it now?" Harry finally spat. His eyes bored into mine as I nodded, deciding that it'd probably be best until this girlfriend of Harry's came back from wherever it was she was supposedly coming back from until I continued to interigate him.

"Are you two just gonna sit there or are you actually getting in?!" Zayn called from the other side of the huge pool. Turning my attention to over where his usual loud voice was coming from, I couldn't help but giggle as I caught sight of Abie in Zayn's arms flattening his quiff with the water on her hands. He didn't look too impressed as he glared down at her, finally smiling though as he planted a wet kiss on her forehead. The other boys messed around like children, splashing water playfully at their girlfriends as I watched them.

"Yeah, I'll be one sec!" I called back, turning to Harry as he made no attempt to move towards the pool.

"Urgh, you're so lazy!" I chuckled, smacking him lightly on the back of the head as I pulled the huge T-Shirt off so I was just stood in my baby blue bikini. Harry's eyebrows raised, causing me to hit him again with a lot more force this time.

"Hey! Watch the hair." he teased, doing an impression of Zayn as he glanced vainly into his iPhone to peer at his reflection. Watching as he stuck out his bottom lip, I pulled Harry off the sun lounger and dragged him towards the pool. Bombing in, I caused a huge splash over the boys and the girls, closely followed by Harry covering us all yet again with the swimming pool water.
