Patience

It has been said patience is a virtue.
In my rather unimportant opinion, patience is not virtue, but a byproduct of virtue.
I would say the only true virtue is love. All other qualities are the fruit of a loving character.
That being said, patience is a very important fruit for our souls to bear.

A side note on fruit:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control: against such things there is no law."
- Galatians 5:22-23

Actually, according to Galatians, any virtue we have comes from the Holy Spirit. God created us with virtue. We cast away that virtue in sin, for if the fruit of the Spirit is what is listed above as sin can be defined as whatever is not done through these virtues.
The Holy Spirit restores us when we allow Him. Without the Holy Spirit we are in sin always, for our virtue has not been restored.

Returning to my original train of thought:
Patience is a key to success. They never recognize it as such in school, choosing instead to support ambition, but patience is of far more worth than they realize.
Patience saves many relationships.
Be patient with your friends, students, teachers, siblings, children, coworkers, bosses, employees, parents, and other people in your life.
Patience in romantic relationships is especially essential.
Patience is most essential in parenting.
When a baby cries, have the patience to attend to them instead of yelling at them or ignoring them. When a toddler asks questions, answer them.

Patience means love, and requires love most often.
Patience is one thing that defines love.

Love is patient, love is kind, live does not envy...

Let us be more patient with one another.
