Where do our fears come from?
Why do we fear?
In the Bible it says,
"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18
If fear has to do with punishment, why do we fear things like scraping our knees?
Suffering, pain, and death are the consequences of our separation from God in sin.
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." - 1 John 4:8
If God is love, perfect love, only He can drive out fear.

One reason I believe in God:
Jesus obviously wasn't crazy. He was wise. He either lied in saying He was the son of God, and died for a lie, or He was telling the truth.
The men who wrote the Gospels gave their life to do so. If they were not sure they wrote truth, they would not have given their lives for God.
Science proves God exists.
When we do not worship Him, the stars and the hydrogen bonds give Him glory.
