Chapter 56

Britney's pov **
It's been two weeks since Cameron's birthday, and right now we're on our way to pick up Maria and head to my appointment

Today is my first ultrasound and I will hear the babies heartbeat for the first time, I'm really excited

I dialed Maria's number as soon as we pulled up outside hers and Matthews shared apartment

"Hellerrr?" She said in a happy tone

"Good morning girly we're outside,"

There was a long pause before she spoke up again

"Oh shoot, oh- okay give me a second I'm gonna put some shoes on" she said nervously

I laughed and hung up

About a minute later the front door of their house opened and Maria came out

She hopped in the car and we made our way to the doctors

"Britney Richards?" The nurse called

I quickly got up, Cameron holding my hand and Maria walking by my side

The nurse sat me down and lowered it so I was now laying down

"Lift up your shirt," she said nicely

I did as I was told

"Now this is going to be a little bit cold," she said as she spread the gel on my stomach

"This is a wand, other known as a transducer which emits sound waves. These sound waves bounce off structures, otherwise known as your baby to produce an image you can view on a video screen."

She points at the video screen and I nod.

She slowly starts to move the wand, and then smiles

"Do you hear that?" She said quietly

The room got quiet and I heard a noise coming from the screen

"Is that my babies heart beat?" I asked

"Mhm, it sure is. Everything seems to be going pretty well if I'm honest."

I look up at Cameron who has the biggest smile on his face

The nurse takes off her gloves and throws them in the trash

She takes out some paperwork and reads through it,

"Hm, okay so your next appointment will be in a few weeks. Once you're 18 weeks, so I'll see you in about a month or two?" She smiles

I nod and thank her

She hands me a towel so I can run off the gel and once I'm done Cameron and Maria help me off the seat

I look at Cameron again and hug him tightly

"We're gonna be parents baby," he whispers in my ear

"Aww this is so cute," I hear Maria in the background

I laugh and turn around only to find her sneaking pictures of Cameron and I

I walk over to her and hug her

"You ready to be a godmother?"

Her eyes open and she hugs me back even tighter

"I'D LOVE THAY OH MY-"

I cover her mouth with my hand

"Shhhhhh!! You're so loud" I laugh

We then leave the hospital dropping off Maria at her place, then Cameron and I go back home.

"Hurry up open the door I have to pee!!" I say trying to stand still

Cameron opens the door and I push him out of the way running towards the bathroom

This is gonna be a long 9 months, I say to myself.

* 4 months later * Britney's pov

"Babeee wake up, I made breakfast," Cameron whispers in my ear and then kisses my cheek

I nod and get up to brush my teeth

I look at myself in the mirror and rub my belly, finally being able to see my baby bump

I smile and head downstairs

"Mmmm, it smells so good" i whisper

I walk inside the kitchen and see Cameron doing the dishes

I slowly approach him and wrap my arms around him

My baby bump resting on his butt

"Hey, get out of my butt little one." Cameron laughs and turns around

"Good morning baby," he kisses my lips

"And good morning to my little peanut" he kisses my belly

I can't help but smile, I love him so much

"Now let's eat some pancakes I'm pretty sure you two are starving," he says talking about me and the baby

After we finish our pancakes, I help Cameron clean up the kitchen

"So I was wondering.." I start off

"Mhm?"

"Do you wanna reveal the babies sex at the baby shower? I kind of wanna be surprised," I say softly.

"That's a great idea, can't wait to meet little Cameron jr,"

I laugh and shake my head

"I'm pretty sure it's a girl!"

"Camila?"

I write the name down in the little baby name journal

Cameron and I are trying to find a baby name, but since we don't know what the baby is yet we're just writing down girl and boy names

"Cameron Jr?" He looks at me with pleading eyes

"We are not naming the baby after you!" I laugh

"Dang flabbit,"

"Alright so if our baby is a girl we'll go with Camila Marie Dallas, and if it's a boy it'll be Justin Alexander Dallas,"

"Sounds good to me," Cameron gets up and kisses my lips

"Now cmon you need to sleep it's getting late,"

I change into some shorts and a tank top and Cameron decided to sleep butt naked, literally.

"Good night my love," he says softly

I smile and fall asleep
