Chapter 35

Britney's POV
"Where we going?" I ask

"Hmm, not quite sure yet. I guess we can drive around for a bit," shawn says

"Orrrrr you can pick up Lilly and Alyssa!" Jacob says over the music that is playing,

I look at shawn confused and see his face is red from blushing

"Aww! does shawn have a crush?" I say pinching his cheeks

Yup he does. Lilly and I have been friends for a long time, a few months ago we went to the mall and she brought her sister Alyssa, of course shawn was there so ever since he's been crazy about her," Jacob explains

"I already have the perfect ship name! shalyssa!" I scream jumping up and down In my seet

"Lets go pick them up! I wanna meet them!" I say clapping my hands together like a 5 year old

"I'll text them, we can go to the mall," Jacob says as shawn and I nod

When we arrive to what I'm guessing is there house, Jacob gets out of the car and walks to the front door.

I get out also, obviously excited to meet them.

I see a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes open the door

"Jacob! long time no see," she says hugging him

She looks at me and smiles,

"Britney, this is Lilly, Lilly this is my friend Britney,"

We exchange hugs, Lilly goes upstairs to get Alyssa and once she comes downstairs we hop in the car

Shawn drives to the mall

(cries bc Shawn can't even drive yet, cries even harder bc he turns 17 tomorrow)

Once we arrive, I get a text from Cameron

So I'm guessing there really isn't a date? :(

I check the time and its 4:45 pm

Well I'm at the mall with Shawn, Jacob & their friends. I'll call a cab or something to pick me up

I feel really bad because I actually forgot about the date,

I walked in to a store I've never seen before and decided to buy a really cute dress that is a little tight on the top, then hangs loosely

I really liked the color, it was like a tannish that suited my skin perfectly

I bought the dress for $47, then bought heels for $34.

Then Cameron texted me again

I'll pick you up, wait for me outside

Okay.

A few minutes later I see Cameron pull up,

"Hey," I say but he just nods, and his jaw is clenched signaling he's mad

"What's wrong?" I say poking his jaw

"So who are their friends?" he asks out of nowhere

"What?" I say laughing

"Shawn and Jacob. Who are there friends that you were with?" his grip on the wheel is so tight his knuckles are turning white

"Cameron calm down. They were girls,"

After I said that, I can see him start to calm down a bit

When we arrive back to the house, I go to the bathroom and change

Once I'm done, I use Maria's wand that she let me borrow and start curling my hair

I call Maria over to the bathroom and she helps with my make up, when I'm done I wait patiently in the kitchen while Cameron gets ready

Cameron's POV

I was wearing a black suit, and my hair was up in a nice quiff.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen and saw Britney there, she looked stunning

"Wow," was all I managed to say

"Do i look bad?" she said with a worried look on her face

"No, you look amazing," I said walking closer to her

"You don't look too bad yourself," she said kissing my cheek

We walk out and into my car, I was planning on taking her to this fancy restaurant I saw the other day

Once we arrived, this dude came up to us and he was totally checking britney out

"Table for two, under Dallas." I said and nodded

He walked us to our table and left

Britney and I looked at the menu, until we decided what we wanted to eat

Minutes later the same guy came up to us with a little notepad

"What can I get you two lovely people?" he said smiling and looking at Britney the entire time,

I rolled my eyes as Britney ordered, and then I did

While we were eating and talking, we noticed how beautiful the sunset looked and our view was amazing

We were able to see these beautiful mountains from afar, and I'm guessing there was a beach near by because you could hear waves crashing and smell the ocean

The Sky looked amazing, it was a good shade of a bluish - pinkish

When we finished our food, we just say there talking

"I have exciting news," I told her

"So the guys and I will be going on tour next month!" I said smiling

"That's great!" she said with a weak smile,

"What's wrong?" I asked placing my hand on top of hers

"I'm leaving in 3 weeks, Cameron" I rubbed her hand with my thumb

"Shhh, don't worry. Your graduation is next week aren't you excited for that?" I ask her, but I can tell she wasn't

"I don't think I'm gonna graduate," she said looking down

"And why is that?" I said looking into her beautiful eyes

"The other day I got a call from my principal and he said I've been absent a lot, I've missed a lot of work and I missed the last test we had which was gonna tell us if we were going to graduate or not," she explained

"Can't you retake it?" I asked her

She shook her head and I saw her eyes watering

"Why didn't you tell me this before? I could've helped you," I said getting up and hugging her, rubbing small circles on her back

"I- I don't know. But the thing is, I'm not graduating. I wasn't even allowed to go to prom," she says sighing

I could tell she was at the verge of tears, so I payed and we drove home
