Chapter 42

Britney's POV
I heard light snores coming from the bed next to mine, I quietly sat up and saw Hayes sound asleep

I looked over at the nightstand and picked up my phone, it was currently 2pm

I checked to see if I had any text messages from Cameron, but I was out of luck

I got up out of bed and Hayes must've heard me because he was slowly starting to wake up

"What year are we in?" He asked confused

I laughed, "we're In the future silly," I said sarcastically

He threw a pillow at me but I ran away before it could hit me

"Where did the rest of the guys go when they left?" I asked Hayes

"I dunno. I didn't go with them you fell asleep before I even came in the room," he said laughing

"Well I'm starving. Wanna go get something to eat?" I asked

"Yeah let's go!" He ran towards the door

Once Hayes and I finished eating we decided to text the guys to see where they were, I texted Cameron and 20 minutes later, still no reply

I shrugged it off

Hayes decided to text Nash instead and he said they were down at the pool

I went back to the hotel room with Hayes so he can get his swim trunks, but I decided to just wear shorts and a tank top because I didn't feel like going inside the pool

When we got there, I looked around and saw everyone but Cameron, that was weird.

I sat down by the pool chairs scrolling through my phone when I felt a tap on my shoulder

I looked up and saw a boy with nice brown eyes and dyed blonde hair

"What's a beautiful girl like you doing all alone here?" He smiled

I smiled back and pointed over at the guys, "just here with a couple of friends,"

He looked over at them then nodded

"Kian get your ass over here!" I turned to see a boy with longer hair walking over towards us

"Oh hi.." He stared awkwardly at me

"I never got your name," the one with blonde hair said

"Britney," I smiled

"Well I'm Kian and this is my dumbass friend that just ruined everything, Jc." I smiled at him

I saw all the guys leaving so I decided I should too

I quickly stood up,

"Well it was nice talking to you guys but I gotta go," I said waving at them

I walked faster finally catching up to them

"You guys forgot about me!" I said laughing

"We didn't wanna ruin your talk with your little friends," I heard a voice say from behind me

I turned around and saw Cameron with his jaw clenched

"Are you serious?" I said annoyed

"I texted you and came looking for you but didn't find you. They came up to me and I  was being a nice person making friends. If anything I'm the one that should be pissed, who knows what the hell you were up to." I walked away and went to the elevators not looking back
