I sighed walking through alley ways looking for a snack. I found a rat running out from under a trash can and snatched it from the concrete. As much as I hate rats and hurting animals I need food. My fangs came out and I dug them into the poor animal, sorry, I thought.
I sighed remembering what my boyfriend Libra thought when he caught me drinking blood from another rat. He freaked out and had ran away leaving me there worried and scared.
I hated this monster I had been turned into when I was seven. I had run away from my foster home once again and that night I was attacked by a creature with fangs.
"G-Gem." A voice said I turned to see Libra "I'm sorry. I never should of left you like that."
"It's okay." I smiled wiping the blood off my lips "I'm just glad you're back."
"Human or vampire." He muttered walking to me "I still love you."
"I love you too." I said hugging him "More then anything. Thank you for accepting me."
He just smiled and kissed my head. I guess not all humans are bad.
