Bucky sits on the steps all bundled up in winter gear. Steve watches his son sadly. Bucky sits outside all evening and eventually Steve picks him up. He closes the door and gets Bucky out of his winter gear. He puts him into pajamas and puts his six year old son to bed. "Papa didn't come," Bucky sniffs. Steve kisses his forehead and tucks him in before going back to the kitchen to finish the dishes. Tears roll down his cheeks silently, of course Tony didn't come. He never did.
