Bucky was frozen and he thought he was going to die. He knew it honestly. He shivers violently and curls up tighter.
"Hey!" Someone calls out, jogging over to him. He looks up terrified at the tall muscular blonde. The blonde swears and starts to pull off his jacket. He pulls him to his feet and wraps the warm jacket around him before carrying him to the car. Bucky continues to shiver violently before he passes out. He wakes up on a couch and he was still freezing. He looks around and spots the blonde.
"You look cold still," the blonde says. Bucky nods slowly, nervously. "I'll get you some more blankets. I'm Steve by the way."
Steve disappears to grab more blankets. "Thank you," Bucky croaks, his voice cracking due to lack of use. Steve nods. Bucky stays with Steve and they quickly grow close, eventually they date and that leads to their marriage. They live happily together till the end of the line.
