The power goes out and plunges them into darkness. Bucky sighs, thankful that the fire place was burning. Steve kisses him gently and gets up. Bucky tries to follow but his legs were asleep. Steve lights a bunch of candles and sits back down beside him.
"You're so pretty in this light," Steve smiles, and Bucky nuzzles his hand. Steve smiles and scratches the brunettes scalp, feeling the vibrations as Bucky purrs with pleasure.
"Come to bed with me," Steve hums and Bucky looks up at him with the most adorable expression ever. He doesn't wait for and answer and scoops him up. He drops him onto the bed then quickly puts out the fire and blows out most of the candles. He returns to the bedroom and jumps into the bed nearly bouncing Bucky out. The brunette yawns sleepily and smiles at him.
"You're cute when you're tired," Steve smiles, brushing his cheek with the back of his hand gently. Bucky blushes and snuggles up against him. Steve smiles and kisses his head.
"I love you baby. You're perfect."
Bucky blushes and looks up at him. "Thank you," he whispers.
"Don't thank me. I love you, never thank me for that," he whispers softly.
