Chapter 128 - The artefact's existence

Link helped Captain cook with chores around the ship for exactly 8 hours straight without any rest and eventually made their way to the galley for supper

"I think I underestimated you... you worked really well out there today!" Said Captain cook

"Yeah well I know what its like to build a house by yourself... own a house by yourself... Look after one yourself... Loose one yourself..." Said Link

"That explains why you are really mature! Here have a taste of my bonsabuy stew passed down by my ancestor Silver!" Said Captain cook

"Oh no thanks I'm not hungry..." Said Link

"Ah come on lad... you haven't ate since the spaceport!" Said Captain cook

"Ugh fine if only It makes you feel better!" Said Link picking up a bowl

Link took a few sniffs before grabbing a spoon and taking a spoonful

"So...?" Said Captain cook

"Mmm that isnt half bad!" Said Link

"Old family recipe!" Said Captain cook as an eyeball poped out of the soup

"Ewww what the?" Panicked Link

"In fact that was part of the old family!" Laughed Captain cook as well as making Link laugh

"I should pull that prank on some of the ponies back at home!" Laughed Link

"What prank?" Said Saria entering the galley

"This fake eyeball sweets prank!" Said Captain cook fishing out the eyeball and instantly swallowing it with one gulp

"I will admit this ship is spotless and the captain is impressed!" Said Saria

"Well... we have been working our backside off on this ship!" Said Link

"I know! When your ready to have a few hours rest let me know!" Said Captain cook

"Maybe in a bit..." Said Link

"I cant believe that the Maraelz are more advanced than us! I mean an ordinary training program takes a few months here but the maraelz only take a few days before learning to shoot!" Said Saria

"They are a pain in the back and a thorn in the side!" Said Captain cook

"If you don't mind... I need to write to Twilight... she Is probably worried sick about me... Im still worried about things back home... Loosing a royal child by the click of human fingers..." Said Link sadly

"Ooof... that sounds awful!" Said Saria sadly

"It is... I don't even want to know what Cadence or shining armour might be thinking..." Said Link

"Cadence and Shining- who?" Asked Saria

"The mother and Farther of the royal child... Honestly im stuck between a rock and a hard place right now... because I want to give the child back but at the same time we are missing-" Said Link

"Diggs and Cherina... the two children who grew up with us as a group... Oh god what a mess!" Said Saria sadly

"Well here is something I do know! I'm going to do my best even if it were to kill me to make my family happy again!" Said Link

"Well then you best write to your special somepony! I will help with washing!" Said Saria

"Nah young lady I got it!" Said Captain cook

"Oh? Well ill come with you Link!" Said Saria

"Alright! Maybe they will believe once we put both our signatures at the bottom!" Said Link

Link and Saria headed to their room and wrote a whole letter back home when they could hear talking from next door

"Come on! Danny is going to tell us more about the artefact that can wipe this crew out!" Said One of the two mares from the end of the corridor

"That didn't sound good!" Said Saira

"Once I have sent this letter we will go investigate!" Said Link

Link sent the letter and slowly followed the two mares quietly and it led back to the galley

"So your all here... Lets begin!" Said Captain cook

"What are you up to Danny..." Said Link quietly

"This! Is what we have... The directors of the squadrons on our fleet of ships should buy us a distraction to absorb the childs powers!" Said Captain cook

"But there is one problem I have to say about this! Its mainly due to the boy!" Said Mr Scoop

"Who? Link what about him?" Asked Captain cook

"Me thinks you have a soft spot for him!" Said Mr Scoop

"SHUT YOUR YAPP!!! I cozyed up to that kid to keep him off our scent! BUT he did save my life a debt you all never would have paid!" Said Captain cook

"That's my problem! You should have killed him when you had the chance!" Said Mr scoop

"You dare even go near him or set him up again like the stunt with Mr Aaden! So help me you will be JOINING HIM!" Yelled Captain cook throwing Mr scoop

"Strong talk! But what was it now? You have the makings of greatness in ya!" Said Mr Scoop

"Listen to me very closely! We will give the distraction needed to pass the child to the maraelz then we will deal with the boy! Poor pony Oozak will never know what hit him!" Said Captain cook

"Not if I warn the captain!" Link said Quietly and dashing off to where the Flurry heart was hidden and weeping wildly

"Its okay... shhh... Its okay! I've got you! I need Shyann to transfer you to a safer ship!" Said Link

Link ran quickly back to the rooms with Flurry heart in his arms

"Saria! Quick we need to go!" Said Link

"Where?" Asked Saria

"Off this ship! These guys are Maraelz!" Said Link

"Okay... Ill take the child and pass her down to pony Oozak! Make sure you get our stuff! Otherwise we are screwed!" Said Saria

"Alright! Be quick!" Said Link

Link as quickly as he could until he could hear a radio signal

"Shyann are you there? Please respond!" Said Oozak

Link ignored it and quickly packed up

"Think she has been taken mate!" Said Link

Link ran to the stairs and bumped into captain cook along the way

"Link?... What are we doing? Playing games?" Asked Captain cook

"Yeah im playing games!" Said Link

"I was never any good at games... I always hated to loose!" Said Captain cook silently loading a deadly sidearm

"ME TOO!" Yelled Link quickly stabbing Captain cook in the cyborg leg making him scream in pain

Link quickly ran to the captains quarters and locked the door behind him

"Okay to the portal room!" Said Link as Saria followed him

Captain cook however whistled as loud as possible

"CHANGE IN PLAN LADS! WE MOVE NOW!!!" Yelled Captain cook making the crew cheer
