Chapter 81 - The Apple road trip

Link was busy helping Applejack take down apples of the apple trees ready for apple buck season when they both noticed Granny Smith, Applebloom and Big Macintosh all packed up ready for the road trip

"Applejack aren't you coming?" Asked Applebloom rushing out of the barn

"For what?" Asked Applejack

"We are all going on a family road trip to visit Goldie Delicious it's been a while I'm sure!" Said Granny Smith

"Well I guess we will have to continue with this later..." Said Applejack

"I guess..." Said Link

"Is Link coming too?" Asked Applebloom

"The choice is his Applebloom..." Said Applejack

"Applejack, you should know by now that is a yes, I've always loved helping you with the work you do on this farm!" Said Link

"That is true, You have been quite the helping hoove!" Said Applejack

"Actually its hand, but eh close enough!" Said Link

"Big mac are ya sure you can handle that much stuff?" Asked Granny smith

"Eeyep" Said Big mac

"Are you sure? The waggon looks kind of weak!" Warned Link

"Eeyep..." Said Big mac

"Are yer-" Said Applejack

"EEYEP!!!" Shouted Big mac

"Alright Big mac calm down we don't Link want to think that all we do is argue!" Said Applebloom

"Relax that's what family is about, I know!" Said Link

"How do you know?" Asked Granny smith

"Ill tell y'all about it later, we don't want Link feeling uncomfortable about it..." Said Applejack

"Why what went wrong?" Asked Applebloom

"Applebloom!" Said Applejack

"Look ill explain it, when we are on the road..." Said Link

"Are you sure?" Asked Applejack

"Positive!" Said Link

Everyone got on the waggon and headed on the road so Link and Big mac took turns carrying the wagon, the others didn't want to make themselves rude by Link pulling the wagon but Link insisted

"I'm so bored!" Moaned Applebloom as Link carried the wagon without a shadow of a doubt

"Hey... I got a... couple of... stories that... I can... tell..." Said Link pulling the extremely heavy wagon with the golden gauntlets

"Big mac can you take over for Link so that he can tell the story?" Asked Applebloom Politely

Link stopped so that Big mac could take over and they swapped places and Link told the adventure of the ocarina of time

"Golly gosh so that was a magical instrument which gives you the power to redo time!" Said Applebloom

"Yeah but since I moved to Equestria and used the last of its power saving Ponyvile It hasn't been much use to me..." Said Link looking at the Ocarina of time

"So since it lost its power what are you going to do with it?" Asked Applebloom

"At the moment?, I don't know... its gotten others killed..." Said Link

"The Dragons?" Asked Applejack

"No... Spike I knew that when the nuke dropped upon ponyvile I used the last of its power, I feel guilty because maybe there was something else we could of done to get more power and we could have saved him... in the meantime he is probably enjoying his time on the other side..." Said Link
