Chapter 89 - An unexpected turn of events

The very next morning Link woke up to check on the pony which was injured the night before

"How is he?" Asked Link

"He will be alright, he is just unconscious he hit his head pretty hard!" Said A guard

"Well call me when he is up!" Said Link

"Will do!" Said The guard

Link headed towards Oozak's room and there Oozak was testing some new power which no one has seen before

"Hey! What are you doing?" Asked Oozak

"Nothing, I need to find out who that new pony is... that's all, I thought id come and check-up since everyone is still asleep!" Said Link

"Well I need privacy... so if you don't mind..." Said Oozak

"Sorry brother..." Said Link closing Oozak's door

"Link, would you mind having a talk with me?" Asked Luna arriving to Oozak's room

"Uh sure, is anything wrong?" Asked Link

"That pony which is in sick bay, he sounded quite deep to be any kind of pony... I just want you to keep your guard up!" Said Luna

"Yeah, just a random pony in canterlot does sound quite suspicious, thank you for the heads up!" Said Link

"Don't mention it..." Said Luna walking off

As link walked around the canterlot castle waiting for the pony to wake up when Twilight came up to check on him

"Link, what's going on?" Asked Twilight

"Its just that new pony in sick bay! I need to ask him a few questions when he wakes up!" Said Link

"Questions?" Asked Twilight

"Yeah you know like what was the cause of his injury, in case it was Gannondorf!" Said Link

"Link! That pony is gone!" Said the guard

"What? How?" Asked Link rushing down the stairs with Twilight

"He knocked out two of the guards that was protecting him and ran off!" Said The guard

"This isn't good! We don't know who that pony was!" Said Link turning around looking at Twilight

There was a sudden gunshot heard off in the distance

"What was that!" Said Twilight

"I don't know but lets go and investigate!" Said Link

Link and Twilight entered Oozak's room to find out he had been shot and slowly turning to stone

"Link... Twilight watch..." Said Oozak turning to stone

"What the?" Said Twilight

Link was grabbed by the pony which was from sick bay

"Get off!" Said Link

"Uh, uh! Don't you move little pony! Or ill put a bullet in this hero's skull!" Said The pony aiming at Links head

"NO!" Shouted Twilight

"We are going to give that Celestia a little visit and I will rule this kingdom!" Said The pony

"You're not exactly great with hooves are you Gannondorf!" Said Link

"Gah! You are just relentlessly annoying!" Said Gannondorf transforming into his true self

"Twilight, whats going on up there?" Asked Celestia

"Nothing, Celestia everything is ok!" Gannondorf said using Twilights voice

"How?" Said Twilight

Gannondorf shot Twilight with the gun and she slowly turned to stone

"TWILIGHT!" Shouted Link

Gannondorf let go of Link and Link held Twilight around her neck

"Link..." Said Twilight quietly turning to stone

Gannondorf picked up Link using magic and walked up to princess Celestia's throne

"This throne will be mine! Just you wait and see and lets say hello to your friends shall we?" Asked Gannondorf

"Celestia! Raise..." Said Link being choked

"No, No, No that isnt how this works! We say goodbye to your friends first and then we will get Celestia

"Gannondorf! Stop!" Said Celestia

"Ah there you are Princess! I've been waiting for this!" Said Gannondorf also picking Celestia up with his magic

"No! Celestia..." Said Link being choked even tighter

"Don't touch him!" Said Celestia

Gannondorf dropped link and punched him in the stomach making him fall to the ground

"Your going to kill me right?" Asked Gannondorf

Celestia said nothing as Luna and cadence came in the room shocked

Gannondorf made Cadence and Luna stay in their place with his magic

"The 6 ponies who own the elements of harmony can no longer wield them against me! In fact I've used them to my advantage! It was easy turn them all to stone and take their elements I mean look who doesn't want a mark like this!" Said Gannondorf showing Rarity's cutie mark

"It isnt over..." Said Link crawling on the floor

"Oh Link there is much more to it than that!" Said Gannondorf shooting Celestia and turning her to stone

"Equestria is not yours to rule Gannondorf!" Said Luna

"Well this hero isn't going to stop me!" Said Gannondorf picking up Link and going down to a big pipe system of the castle

"Drop... me..." Said Link

"I am boy, down this waterway which you won't survive!" Said Gannondorf dropping Link and putting a cage around the waterway and drowning Link

"So long!" Said Gannondorf

"ATTENTION EVERYPONY! RETREAT FROM CANTERLOT EQUESTRIA IS LOST! I REPEAT EQUESTRIA IS LOST!" Said Shining armour making an emergency announcement

"Welcome to our new castle everyone!" Said Gannondorf laughing and brining in a lot of monsters which Link fought In hyrule as flames surronded him
