Chapter 88 - Party battles

As everyone headed back to Canterlot to celebrate at the castle

"I can't believe I won something! Which is totally incredible!" Said Link finally after his tears of joy

"I can't wait to see the look of everyone's face!" Said Rainbow dash

As the carriage stopped out of the canterlot castle every pony in canterlot cheered for everyone, as link stood out of the carriage and everyone saw the trophy and were stunned that Link had won it

"He did it!" Said Night Glider

Everyone headed inside and Link showed the trophy to Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence, Afterwards he kept the trophy near his bed and headed back towards the party Pinkie was about to throw, However there was a mysterious pony with a cowboy hat as Link walked down the stairs.

"Whats going on?" Asked Link

"This is cheese sandwich!" Said Pinkie pie

"Cheese sandwich?" Said Link

" Name's Cheese Sandwich. I plan western musical galas." Said Cheese sandwich

"As well as parties?" Asked Link

"Yes..." Said Cheese sandwich

"Seemed obvious, Why else would any pony sneak past the guards have a conversation with the first pony you see?" Said Link

"Because I heard about this party and I would love to host this party!" Said Cheese sandwich

"Well I do appreciate the offer, but one of my best friends, Pinkie here pulls of the best parties in the whole of Equestria!" Said Link

"Really?!?!" Said Pinkie appearing out of nowhere

"Yes Pinkie you do!" Said Link

"Well heres the thing... I didn't come here just for a party, I also challenge you to a western song battle!" Said Cheese sandwich

"Hmm you talk a good game... Your on!" Said Link

Everyone headed over to the stage in the garden ready for a head to head

"Here is the rules... You both are going to play a song which is western stylish, if Cheese sandwich wins he gets to host the party, However if Link wins Pinkie pie will be the host of the party!" Said Twilight

"So, you think you can underestimate my genre of music do you now?" Said Cheese sandwich

"Actually ill be two seconds!" Said Link zooming off and putting on a cowboy getup

"Whats with that getup? And where did he get that from?" Asked Rarity

"I don't know... but I know he is crazy!" Said Oozak

"Lets do it!" Said Link

"Now when you get locked up what am I going to do?" Asked Cheese sandwich

"Break your rusty cage!" Shouted the crowd of ponies looking at the stage

"Uh oh he is going to hit Link with an ace song made by Johnny cash!" Said Oozak

Cheese sandwich pulled out an acoustic guitar and began playing

"Wow... I have to say you have laid me on a brilliant song there! I liked it, It was kind of cheesy!" Said Link making the audience laugh

"Play a song! Play a song!" Shouted the crowd

"I have just the thing for every pony!" Said Link

"How, you never played any western!" Said Oozak

"Oh you see your wrong my brother!" Said Link pulling out a rare 12 string guitar

"Where did he get that?" Asked Twilight

"Now ill need some help here from everypony!" Said Link

"Hey, hey, hey there is no cheatin!" Said Cheese sandwich

"Fine..." Said Link beginning to play on the 12 string

"I have an idea!, Because these ponies are having a difficult time deciding how about a little sing along?" Asked Link

"Wow what a great idea!" Said Pinkie pie arriving on stage

When the party was over everyone headed home and into bed
