The next day Link woke up due to a knock on the canterlot castle to find out it was a crystal pony knocking

"Ah my friend from the crystal empire! How are you after the day of victory!" Said Link

"Oh believe or not I am here to invite you to headline the stage of the Equestria games for the closing ceremony!" Said Crystal Varado

"The what now?" Asked Link

"You never heard of the Equestria games?" Said Rainbow dash

"Hey I still learning some areas of Equestria" Said Link

"Anyways the games got called of when Gannondorf struck, so we wanted a ceremony where we close pack up until next time which isn't long and I was hoping you guys would headline!" Said Crystal Varado

"Sure! I mean we are due another gala night and if we go to that Equestria stage then no doubt that every single pony in Equestria is going to be there!" Said Link

"I'll let everypony know right away!" Said Rainbow dash

"Yes! And also can I get an autograph?" Asked Crystal Varado

"Sure!" Said Link getting a quill

Later everyone was on the royal train to the Equestria stadium and as expected the place was huge

"We got our gala outfits?" Said Oozak

"Check!" Said Rarity

"This is just a reminder Link but one day we need to go on patrol for Chrysalis in case she finally sets the beacon down!" Said Oozak

"Oozak, I know your worried about the maraelz but we have only just gained victory from an evil overlord, its time enjoy peace and harmony while we still have it and this is a great opportunity!" Said Link

"Fine ill give you around a week because we all need to stay frosty!" Said Oozak

"That's all I need, Now I would like to make an announcement I will be singing a solo for a friend I have recently just lost... so if you all don't mind ill do it!" Said Link

"You can sing Two solo's if you want!" Said Twilight

"Thanks Twilight!" Said Link

As the train arrived there were a crowd of crystal ponies which picked up Link and he was being taken to the stadium

"Ah there you are o brave Link, What we want is you to sing some new songs and songs which you have sung before!" Said Crystal Varado

"Classic! I would love to!" Said Link

Cadence and shining armour walked past

"Good luck Link!" Said Cadence

"Yes and we have given Oozak the opportunity to light the torch!" Said Shining armour

"Well I would love to give a surprise as well can you come closer?" Asked Link

Cadence and Shining armour got closer to Link and Link whispered about bringing the Equestria games back

"You don't possibly mean?" Said Shining armour

"Ill say it once the gig is finished it will please everypony!" Said Link

Link eventually went to the changing rooms which were set up for the gig and opened his new gala outfit which was a black boiler suit

"Brilliant! That Is why I always trust Rarity with fashion!" Said Link

"Link look at the torch!" Said Oozak as he lit the torch with a extremely loud cheer

"Sounds amazing!" Said Link
