Chapter 16 - Nightmare Night.

Everyone was getting ready for the night where the macabre celebrations are in full swing some though decided to not celebrate by staying at home and spending the night there.

Twilight left her house with Spike and arrived in the centre of ponyvile and realised that the new citizen had not yet arrived.

"Where is he?" Said Twilight.

"Probably still at home." Said Spike

They went dashing off to Links house and took the elevator up to the top where the front door was, Link was putting up his photo of him and his friends.

"There all done!" Said Link.

There was a knock on his door.

"Step to your left!" Link called out.

There was a scanner sound and then there was a successful beep.

"GREETINGS ELEMENT OF MAGIC!" Said Link's computer.

"Heh that's too cool" Said Spike.

Twilight was surprised that Link wasn't dressed up for the ocation.

"Where is your outfit?" Asked Twilight.

"What outfit?" Link asked.

"Your Nightmare Night outfit." Responded spike.

"Uhh my Nightmare what?" Said Link.

"It's Nightmare night Link!" Said Twilight.

"What's that?" He asked.

"It's where we celebrate by dressing up as monsters or undead, It rocks!" Said Spike

"Ooookay...." Said Link

"Ugh were late we are meant to spend time with the celebration outside not in here!" Said Twilight.

"Ill be right back!" Said Link as he zoomed off.

He zoomed back dressed in his green tunic looking kind of scruffy.

"Will this do?" He asked

"Better than normal clothes I guess." Said Twilight.

They all headed outside and got candy from the candy machine from the front ready to give to Princess Luna.

"You sure you got all that candy spike?" Said Link.

"Yeah I got it." Said Spike

"Good we are almost there!" Said Twilight.

They all headed to the centre where the meeting had begun.

"SHOOT WE'RE LATE!" Said Link

They all ran and Link picked up spike so Twilight could run faster to get to the meeting quicker.

"FASTER!" Yelled Spike

"Just what do you think I am, A Pegasus?" Said Link.

"Somebody call for a Pegasus?" Said Rainbow dash flying in.

"Hey Rainbow race ya!" Said Link.

"Your on brother!" Said Rainbow dash.

They raced to the gather round but rainbow dash was too quick for Link and Twilight.

"Well I guess we're racing for Silver then!" Link said to twilight.

"You're on!" Said Twilight.

They raced and when they finally made it Twilight came 2nd leaving Link and Spike last.

"Welcome everypony to nightmare night! Where monsters roam the streets and where the macabre celebrations come into play!" Said the mayor of ponyvile.
