Lost Without YUZHOU

Enemy?

"So do you like the ice cream...?" Wei Zhou knows Jingyu was trying to have a normal conversation with him so he went along with it.

"Yeah. But I hate ice-cream…." Jingyu stopped walking and looked at Wei Zhou, interrupting him.

"Then why did you even want one?!" Wei Zhou saw that Jingyu frowned at him for a second but then it turned into a cold, emotionless glare. Wei Zhou gave out a sigh and sat at the nearby bench.

"What I'm trying to say is that I hated it back then. You should have let me finish." Jingyu's mood changed but now he was just curious while sitting at the other end of the bench far away from where Wei Zhou was at.

"Back then when I was a kid, I’ve always hated seeing ice-cream because it brings back some horrible memories. But then I met someone that made me want to eat it again. I can't say no because that person was my friend and with what happened to...." Wei Zhou knows he had no choice so he just told him. But he didn't expect to tell him the whole story. Before he could tell the main reason, he stopped himself. He can't believe he could actually slip up and tell Jingyu the truth about his friend.

Wei Zhou faced Jingyu for a second seeing that Jingyu was actually looking back at him looking very interested. He don't know why but it was actually easy to talk to Jingyu and yet that was something he wanted to avoid.

"Well...ummm...yeah....so that's why I eat this stupid ice cream." Wei Zhou said quickly and avoided looking at Jingyu; hence he looked straight ahead eating his ice-cream silently.

"Well at least that friend of yours has good taste. Because vanilla ice-cream with caramel syrup is life." Wei Zhou turned around to tell Jingyu something but someone caught his attention.

"Wait… Is that Chen Wen?" Wei Zhou looked behind Jingyu while squinting his eyes trying to make sure it was him.

"And Feng Song...?" Jingyu also looked questioningly at the two people walking closer to them. After they waited for a while, they finally see that they were both right because it was Feng song and Chen Wen walking together.

While both Feng Song and Chen Wen were getting closer, they finally realized that Jingyu and Wei Zhou were sitting at a bench near them. They quickly put up a space between them. Wei Zhou and Jingyu didn't bother to stand up and waited for both Chen Wen and Feng Song to approach them.

"Hey Wei Zhou." Wei Zhou looked at both of them and then only at Chen Wen because he was acting strange and suspicious.

"What are you doing here?" Wei Zhou asked looking back at Chen Wen and Feng Song because even back then he has not seen both of them together.

"I should ask you the same thing?" Chen Wen retorted back with a raised eyebrow looking back and forth between Wei Zhou and Jingyu sitting on the bench.

"We just went out, and what about you?" Wei Zhou said defensively and looked at Chen Wen with a challenging gaze.

"Well…. We went out for a walk but why are you with him?" Chen Wen pointed out eyeing Jingyu who was calmly listening until he heard those words.

"So what?" Wei Zhou said curiously and yet offended thinking something was wrong being with Jingyu.

"Well…. He is your enemy....like since we met and I don't know....you hate his guts." Chen Wen replied sarcastically in a sassy tone while waiting for Wei Zhou’s reaction. After hearing those words, both Jingyu and Wei Zhou tensed up. Yet Wei Zhou himself didn't understand how he and Jingyu ended up like this.

"Hey.... Feng Song did you ever came to 2Seungs park? Because your backpack looks familiar and nice hat." Wei Zhou saw that Jingyu smirked and noticed that both Chen Wen and Feng Song tensed up. This ignite Wei Zhou’s curiosity because it seemed like something happened between them that he didn't know of. To top it all off, he just now realized that Chen Wen was wearing a hat.

No one was saying anything but Wei Zhou realized that the 3 of them were eyeing each other. It looked like they were arguing and debating on something but then they quickly looked at Wei Zhou.

"We should get going so….bye Wei Zhou." Chen Wen waved goodbye and quickly scurried away from them dragging Feng song with him. Wei Zhou just looked at them still not knowing what just happened. He then looked back at Jingyu but he was gone.

"Going to find a trash can." Wei Zhou looked up seeing that Jingyu was walking away heading to the other direction with his cup in the air so he could see what he meant.

Wei Zhou didn't do much after that but his mind was filled with questions that he didn't want to bother thinking about anymore because he can never know the answer anyway. He looked at the cup in his hand and instinctively mixed his ice cream with the caramel syrup.

He can't help think about his friend who loved doing the same thing he was doing right now. Because that friend was someone who helped him in many ways. But then he stopped and frowned still staring at the mixed ice-cream in his cup.

It's weird but Jingyu said the same thing you said to me before....

"Vanilla Caramel ice-cream is life." Wei Zhou smiled bitterly saying the words that held so much meaning to him and yet this was the first time he ever said it without his friend saying the same thing. After a few seconds, his vision became blurry and he felt like his body was shutting down. But before he could lose consciousness, he saw red shoes coming his way and then everything becomes dark.....

Poor Wei Zhou getting a happy short few moments then everything became fucking shitty in a second. To my readers you will hate me so much for the next chapter but it has to be done so.
