Chapter 25: Who Are You And What Have You Done To Mello? (long title I know)
Your POV
I sighed. How come I have to be a bodyguard? Our plan might get destroyed if Takada suspects me and finds out that I'm Y/N Undercover. I mean, she can easily kill me. There's no doubt Kira will share his powers with her. It'll be stupid not to do so.
I'm glad, though, Near had finally decided to take action. He updates everyone about what's going on in each of our parts. Good thing Halle came with me as Takada's Bodyguard, finally I have someone to talk to.
Near had also told us that Mikami took out a notebook and wrote someone's name in it and in fact, the person he wrote died. Why is he even doing that in public? It's too obvious and if he writes a name couldn't he do it more secretly other than clearly exposing what he did?
It might be possible that Kira had gotten ahead of us already. He might've considered our motives and already carried out a plan. For sure Near thought if that right? Right?
I went straight to the bathroom of my little bodyguard-apartment and gladly, Halle and I didn't find any surveillance cameras in here nor on hers. But we weren't sure about recorders so we never talked about the case in public just to make sure.
I removed my fake wig and applied a hair dye. Wigs have bigger risks to fall and expose my hair color so I decided to just put a temporary dye. My reflection shone in the mirror along with my fake [brown/blue] eyes that looked very real.
It was our day off today, but Halle and I weren't allowed to go to the new SPK base because we might risk our chances of getting exposed. Heh, At least Takada allows us to have day-offs.
Hmm. What do I do today? How about visit Mello and Matt? I heard they were in here at Kanto Region of Japan. I wonder why. Are they working on this case too? Possibly. I haven't seen Mello since he came to our old headquarters.
Real question is, How in the world will I find out where Matt and Mello are staying?

I stood in front of the building that looks identical to the one I have in hand. Somehow, Halle knows where they are. I walked towards the door nervously. I haven't seen Mello for too long and our meet-up didn't seem too good. Also, I haven't even seen Matt in years! Who knows what changed?
Before I can regret my decision and go back home to cuddle in my pillows. My finger had pressed the doorbell. I nervously waited for a little while, no one's answering the door. Are they home or not?
I pressed the doorbell again just in case. That's where I heard loud shouts coming from the inside.
"Hey, Matt! Answer the door!"
"Not in a million years Mels."
There was a little bit of silence before I heard voices again.
