Arthur puffed a sigh through his cheeks. “Let me start again,” said Arthur, “You would like us to find your husband.”

“You have said he is dead.”

“It is my belief, based on what the Author said, that it is so.”

“Well then, I would like you to find my husband’s body and bring his murderer to justice.”

“Of course, please sit down.” Arthur also sat down, “Would you like a cup of tea?”

  “Coffee please.”

Arthur looked at Fawh, “A coffee please Fawh.”

“But I just made you a tea?”

“Not for me dimwit, for Mrs. White-not-Black.”

“Oh,” ohd Fawh. “Would you like it white or black?” he asked the female client.

  “White not black,” she replied.

Fawh went to make a cup of coffee.

Arthur looked back at Mrs. White-not-Black, “I need you to answer some questions Mrs. White-not-Black.”

  “Why?”

“Because detectives ask questions to detect. If you do not answer my questions then how am I going to find out anything?”

  “Surveillance?”

Arthur laughed a little, “Very funny Mrs. W-n-B.”

  “Use my full name please.”

  “White-not-Black.”

  “Mrs. White-not-Black.”

  “Mrs. White-not-Black.”

“What do you want to know?”

“When was the last time you saw your husband?”

“This morning, just before I left for this office.”

“How do you know he is dead?”

  “You just told me.”
