Nandini narrated everything to the rest and they couldn't stop laughing. Though it wasn't as funny as they made it look like.

"Woah bro! I wish I had my camera to record it" Cabir spoke between his laughter.

"Film ki shooting hai jo tumhe record karna hai?" Navya asked him.
"Aree Madhubala" Cabir sighed.

"Navya he has a hobby of recording such funny moments" Mukti said.
"Funny? Tera birthday recording bhi funny tha?" Cabir questioned.
"She means memorable moments Cabir" Alya spoke.

"Guys! We were talking about Manik Malhotra!" Nandini interrupted.

"Oh yes!" Mukti and Cabir shouted.

"Nandini Murthy! You are so gone!" Manik said getting up from his seat.

"Manik me to bas mazak karrahi thi" she said and followed his actions.

"Ab me batata hu mazak kya hota hai" Manik said and walked to her side but she ran to the other.

He chased her around the table with her pleas and laughter echoing in the canteen while the rest were enjoying the ongoing Tom and Jerry fight.

"Nandini your pager" Navya said pointing at it.
Nandini rushed to her seat to check it and Manik got hold of her.

"Navya you cheater!" Nandini shouted and Manik laughed.

"Aree pehli baar Manik ne humse kuch maanga" Navya said.
"Kese?" Mukti asked.
"Bas ishaara kiya, aur samajne wale ko ishaara hi kaafi hai" she patted herself.
"Typical Madhubala" Cabir slapped his forehead.

Manik held both her hands and twisted them at the back pulling her closer to him.

"Ab kaha jaogi?" he asked with a smirk.
"Manik sorry na...it was all for fun" she defended herself.
"Fun ha? Wese I have a lot more ways to have fun" he whispered making her breath uneven.

Nandini pager buzzed for real.
"Manik please let me check it..emergency hosakti hai" she requested.
He left her one hand and she checked her pager.

"I'm needed in the general ward, please let me go" she told Manik.
"Not so fast Nandini" he said.

Nandini kept her pager on the table and took a glass full of water.

"Manik leave me warna I'll pour this on you" she threatened.

Manik smiled. "You seriously think you can do that? To me?"
"Manik I can do anything" she warned.

Their friends had become silent spectators by then.

"Manik haath chodo!"

"Nahi chodunga"

"Manik!"

"Nandini"

SPLASH!

She emptied the whole glass of water on him making him leave her hand. Water dripping from his face to his shirt.
The rest covered their mouths with their hands in shock.
Fab 5 were quite surprised by her act. Messing with Manik was not everyone's cup of tea.

Nandini hurriedly took some steps backwards.

"Sorrryyy, you left me with no option Manik. I'm sorry"

She apologized and left after picking her pager and lab coat while Manik stood there in utter surprise. He angrily wiped the water off his face staring at the direction in which Nandini went.
