Reader is the daughter of Loki and is taken away after New York.

Loki's POV

  (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)  

"Daddy, don't wet 'em take me!" (Y/n) screams as Thor picks her up from the ground in front of my cell.

"(Y/n)!" I scream, pounding on the barrier in vain.

They took my only day if sunlight from my gloomy world. After her mother died from childbirth I had taken upon myself to raise my daughter better than Odin raised me. It had worked until New York. Now, I am left with only memories for the small three year old. They'll most likely be taken away any day now.

Time ticks by slowly to occupy my time I soft through my memories and play them. Most that I play are of (Y/n). Her bubbling laughter, her first steps, her first word, everything. Though I can't say I liked that her first word was "Thor", I loved her.

I found out shortly after they took her that (Y/n) was in Midguard, and she was happy. Happy without me. Happy without knowing I was in pain every second we are apart. My darling (Y/n) was adopted by the ever so heroic Captain America. Was this a better life for her? Did I even deserve this tiny miracle?
