Bruce and I walk into the Avengers conference room hand in hand. We've been married for three years, we dated for ten, and we've just gotten our adoption papers for our babies finalized. Everything about them were planned, except for telling the team. Bruce pulls out my chair and scoots me in after I've sat down, choosing the seat next to me he intertwines his fingers with mine.

I smile as Natasha and Clint wander in. Clint is out of breath and sweating profusely. He straightens up and hands Nat a wad of bills before taking his seat. Tasha grins and ruffles his hair before sitting next to me.

Pietro, Wanda, and Vision walk in without much fuss. Tony blindly walks straight into the door frame, dropping and shattering his tablet he was working on in the process. He quietly pushed it under a bench and took another out of his back pocket. Thor runs in, dragging a pissed off Loki by his feet. After waiting a bit longer Steve walks in, apologizing for being late.

"So what is so important that you dragged me out of my lab?" Tony questions loudly, eliciting mummers of agreement from the rest of the group.

"We just have a little announcement and then you can all go." I smile brightly at Bruce.

"As yo all know (Y/N) and I have been trying to have a baby for quite some time, we then found out neither of us are able to conceive a child." He pauses letting the statement roll around in their heads. "We've been turned down by several adoption agency's because we have been deemed too dangerous."

"It was yesterday we got a call back from one in Russia, claiming that since I was the one responsible for saving their building from being attacked that I was motherly enough. Anyway, we have gathered you all here today to help us greet our twin babies, Abigail and Cheyenne." Tony squeals in delight when I finish, running up to us and hugging us tightly.

"I'm happy for you guys." Natasha smiles tightly, pats us on our backs and leaves.

I smile at Bruce, silently telling him i'll go after her. When I catch up to Nat she's leaning against a wall, her fists in tight balls against her sides. 

"Tash, whats wrong?" I ask her.

"Whats wrong?! Whats WRONG!!" She yells, I jump back in shock, Nat is usually one to hide her emotions so this is totally out of character for her. "You come back from Africa, after five years might I add, and just assume that nothing has changed between you and Bruce. Well guess what (Y/N)!? Everything changed! We started to fall in love. Hell! I would go as far to say we DID fall in love. Of course after you came he told me that everything between us needed to stop." She pauses to punch the wall and scream out of anger. "Do you know how hard it is to fall out of love (Y/N)? Of course you don't because everything in your life has been made for you. Now if you'll excuse me I must be taking my leave."
