The Silver Card

If you look close enough, you could always find something interesting on your journey.

School was finally over, so I could finally enjoy the cool evening breeze.

I opened my wallet to check for enough money, when coins accidentally spilled out. I looked down and something else caught my eye against the dirty roadside as I gathered up my coins.

A clean silver card with black lettering printed on the top. I brushed dust off and stuffed it into my pocket. I don't know why, but I had a knack for odd things I find on the road. My mother would complain sometimes to see ribbons, cans, and plastic that I had stuffed into my drawers. But I always tell her its for recycling and art. Which I really do put in the recycling bin and use for art projects in school.

When I got home, emptying my pockets, it caught my eye again. This time I brushed off enough dirt to finally read both sides, in which the front said:

'*TRICYCLE SERVICE: We will get you to your time NOW!'

It must have been a personal service business card because the back said:

"Personal Driver Contact: *Rain Dance, three counter-circles."

I raised my eyebrows and almost laughed aloud. As if the tricycle will appear by magic. Maybe this was a magician's game card or something.

I flipped the card over and over again until it winked at me like a thousand stars.
