Bucky pokes the fire with his stick. They all sat together on the roof of Stark tower. Bucky wraps his jacket tighter around himself.

"And then he shot her!" Tony roars and Bucky jumps, he hadn't really been listening to the story so he wasn't sure what was happening. Natasha shakes her head.

"That was lame." She sighs. Bucky leans back into Steve's warm chest.

"How 'bout you tell one Bucky? You used to have some terrifying stories when we were younger." Steve hums, drawing patterns on Bucky's thigh with his finger tip. Bucky shrugs.

"I don't know..." He trails off.

"I bet you could scare the pants off of Tony." Clint smiles.

"Okay." Bucky nods. "Don't laugh if it terrible." He mumbles. Tony crosses his heart dramatically. Bucky takes a deep breath and begins.

"A young man wandered through the woods. Creeping through the foliage silently. He spots his target and pulls the trigger. The bang from the gun is deafening. The deer falls like a rag doll, lifeless and limp. The man collects his prize and carries it home to his cabin. He'd been warned not to go hunting in these woods but he never listened. He skins the deer and cooks it up. He goes to bed after dealing with it properly. He rolls onto his side and let's sleep take him away. It was still dark outside when he awoke. He heard footsteps in the other room and got up, grabbing his bat which he always kept in the room, leaning against his dresser. He creeps soundlessly to the other room to find a figure standing there. He swings his bat at it but it goes right through the figure. He stands confused, his bat at his side.

I have warned you not to hunt here. A low voice says to him. He raises his bat and spins around in search of the source. He sees the figure near the window and he swings his bat at it again. His bat hits the window sill with a crunch. He swallows.

You shall pay. The voice tells him before the cabin is once more quiet. He shuts the door tightly and then does the same with the windows. He sleeps with his bat. He wakes up the next morning and shrugs off the events of the previous night. He eats a quick breakfast and heads out again. He wanders through the woods noiselessly. He spots a bird flying high above him in the sky. He raises his gun and lines up the shot. He pulls the trigger and watches the bird come tumbling down. He follows to where it lands and picks it up. He carries it home and cooks it up. He walks onto his bedroom and the whole area is a mess, everything was torn to shreds and in pieces everywhere. The man frowns, thinking maybe a bear got into the cabin. The floorboards in the other room creak and the man goes to investigate. The figure from the night before stood in the center of the room.

I warned you, you would pay for your crimes but you ignored me. I shall give you another chance but that is all. Do not hunt anymore tomorrow. The figure tells him. The man nods and the figure disappears. The man goes to bed. He wakes up as the sun begins to rise. He heads out with his gun because he didn't believe the man could harm him. He creeps through the underbrush and comes across a doe and her two babies. The buck stood a little further away. He lines up the shot and fires. The mother and babies scamper off.

You ignored me. The voice roars. For this you shall pay!

The man wasn't quite sure what to expect. But it definitely wasn't being impaled by the horns of a deer. The deer he'd just shot lunges forward and the man cries out as the antlers go right through him. The figure smiles at the sight. All kinds of forest animals gather around the body.

Eat my animals, eat those who have eaten you.

      The end." Bucky finishes.

"I'm never ever going to go hunting. Ever." Tony says, Bucky blushes slightly. Steve kisses the back of his head.

"You did really good babe." Steve hums.

"High five." Clint cheers, holding up his hand. Bucky hits it smiling shyly. Nat smiles, Bruce was grinning, his arm around Nat's waist.

  "You did great." He compliments.

"Thank you." He grins. Steve kisses the back of his head before pulling away.

"It's late. I think we're going to go to bed." Steve hums, scooping Bucky up off the chair. Bucky giggles, surprised.

"Too much fluff!" Tony cries, leaning back in his chair. Bucky laughs as Steve carries him upside do to the elevator. He waves goodbye to the from where Steve had him slung over his back.

"See ya." Steve calls over his shoulder.

"See ya lovebirds." Clint calls back.
Bucky hits the button once they're in the elevator.

It dings when they reach their floor and Steve carries Bucky to their room. He drops Bucky onto the bed. He jumps on top of him and cuddles him.

"Get off!" Bucky squeaks, though he was laughing. Steve tickles his sides until Bucky's breathless with laughter. Bucky lays breathless from laughing and Steve snuggles up to his side.

"I love you Bucky." Steve purrs. Bucky smiles and kisses his throat lightly.

"I love you too Stevie." Bucky hums drifting off. Steve pets his hair.

"Night baby. Sleep well." Steve whispers. They fall asleep peacefully together.
