Getting away with murder.

I know that Riley killed Jodi and Kent but...what do I do? He killed them to avenge our baby but it seemed so sadistic. I mean...feeding them to rats while they were still alive! It's macabre! I found out because the news said that that they were found, their bodies so consumed and ravaged by the vermin...it was impossible to tell what killed them. It seems that Kent was doing business for some methamphetamine cooks in Denver.    He was laundering their money and investing it for them. It looks like he was skimming off the cooks and they had no witnesses to figure it out.  That wasthe angle they're playing it from.

I was scared of Riley. I didn't let it show but he killed two people. He left no evidence of the crime, which means he planned it out. It was coldly calculated and executed.

I married a monster.

Or did I? I see the way he plays  with and acts with Benny. He showers him with love and affection. Same with me. I'm always being kissed and cuddled by him.  He always tells me he loves me.

I'm so confused. What do I do?

A few days after Kent and Jodi's bodies were discovered, Riley pulled me aside. "Some cops from Denver are coming to talk to us since we had a motive for killing them."

"What do we do?" I asked.

He let out a tired sigh. "Whatever you think is best. You know what I did, if you want me to confess to them I will. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. I just told you so you won't be surprised."

He walked away from me. I stood watching as walked off.

What do I do now?

Break up my family for the two bastards who tried to destroy it...or turn in my husband for murder?

Detectives Fantringham and Olsen both walked into our house and they both were so fat...I was amazed they could walk through the door without getting stuck. I know that cops are supposed to be fat but this...is absurd. How are they not dead yet?

One of them spoke up. "So you two lost a child to Jodi and Kent yes?"

I stayed silent. Riley spoke. "Yes, I hired a PI to figure out who she was. I'm in the middle of a lawsuit with a tabloid and  she was supposed to be next."

"Okay. Mr. Thornton, where were you on the night of their murder?"

I suddenly spoke. I have no idea where the words came from but I just began talking.

"Murder? MURDER?! That wasn't murder! That was a public service!" I screamed at them. All the men stared at me in shock as I stood up.

"YOU PRICKS WANNA KNOW WHERE HE WAS? HE WAS HERE WITH ME, COMFORTING ME ABOUT THE LOSS OF OUR BABY! HE HELD ME WHILE I CRIED AND TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO BE OK!" I cried out at them.

"Ms. Williams..."Detective Olsen tried to calm me down but I just let the fury fly.

"IT'S THORNTON! NOT WILLIAMS. THORNTON!!" I yelled at him.

I pointed at the cops. "When you find the guy who killed them...let me know. I'll pay top dollar to make sure they stay out of prison! I'll find the best lawyers,I'll influence  public opinion....I'll do whatever it takes to keep their killer out of jail!" I snarled at the fat-ass cops in front of me.

"That person...did me and my husband a service.He avenged the baby we lost. I won't let him go to prison for that."

"Ma'am the law..." Detective Fantringham spoke.
