This is a young Kakashi, young Sora chapter. I really wanted to do one or something.
The first mission I made up.
"Don't you have a mission today?" Kushina-San asks.
I turn over in bed, "I'm not going."
"Why not?" She asks, "you can't keep missing missions like this!"
"It's not my fault," I mutter into my pillow.
She sighs, "how was the festival last night?"
I smile unconsciously, "fine."
"Fine? What's that supposed to mean?" She asks.
"It was fine," I say quietly.
"What happened?" She asks quietly.
"Nothing in particular," I say secretively.
"Sora, tell me!" Kushina demands.
I sigh, "Kakashi and I kissed, okay?"
She gasps, "oh my gosh really? Did he have that stupid mask on?"
"No he took it off," I say quietly.
Kushina starts squealing, "I have to tell Minato!"
"NO! Please don't!" I say jumping up out of bed.
"MINATOOOOOO!" She yells through the house.
"Noo Kushina-San please!" I gasp in desperation.
She smirks down at me when we hear his footsteps come up the stairs. He appears in the doorway with a curious expressing before saying, "Sora, we have a mission today, you might get an earful from Kakashi but-"
"Speaking of Kakashi!" Kushina interrupts.
"I'LL BE THERE, THAT IS ALL MINATO-SENSEI!"
"THEY KISSED!" Kushina yells over me.
I blush and look up at Sensei's face.
"What about his mask?" Minato asks.
I cross my arms, "he took it off, is it really that important?"
Minato chuckles, "yes."
I sigh, "I need to get ready, you can leave now."
The both of them leave and I quickly change into my mission gear. I walk over to my wall mirror and brush through my long straight hair, braiding it into a single French braid after.
I sigh and take the braid out, letting my hair fall straight. I tie my forehead protector in my hair like a headband (Sakura part 2) and look at myself again.
I shrug, good enough.
I quickly grab my prepacked over night bag, which is always packed, and head downstairs. Minato-sensei was zipping his flak jacket up and preparing to leave.
"Here you go," Kushina-san says tossing me an apple, "be safe you two."
"Always," I say and Minato-sensei kisses her on the cheek.
I follow sensei out the door and to the gates, where Kakashi already was.
Sensei, please don't embarrass us!
After a few minutes Rin shows up and brings some life to the party.
"Good morning!" She says cheerfully.
Sensei smiles and says a greeting, I wave, and Kakashi doesn't even answer. I sigh, "do you think Obito might be on time today?"
"Not a chance," Kakashi answers.
