Did I forget to mention I was going on a school trip? Whoops, sorry for the late update.
"We have a mission," Kakashi says as I walk into the kitchen. I pour myself a cup of coffee, and stir in some milk and sugar.
"With?" I ask sitting across from him.
"You, me, and Katsumi," Kakashi says.
I nod, "where is she?"
"Out with Iruka, I told her about the mission earlier," he explains, "we're to leave sometime around noon."
I sigh, "alright, I'm going to start packing."
He tilts his head to the side, "you don't want to know anything else?"
"No," I say quietly, "something just doesn't feel right."
I finish off my coffee and head back to our room, where I begin packing.
"There you are."
I gasp and turn around.
"You don't recognize me do you? It's such a shame."
The woman in front of me had long black hair, deep blue eyes, and a familiar face.
She laughs, "I'm your mother!"
"What? Why didn't you come to see me sooner?" I ask.
She smirks, "I had no need to, until now."
"What?" I ask quietly.
She sighs, "I'm just giving you a warning."
"A warning?" I ask quietly.
"I can't give details, but I have to kill your father," she says nonchalantly.
"What?" I ask in shock.
She rolls her eyes, "it's a good thing you're pretty, I just said I can't give details. Ooh! Gotta go!"
A fire flares up and she disappears from the room.
"Sora? What was that?" Kakashi asks as he walks in.
"My mother," I say, tears threatening to spill.
He wraps his arms around me tightly, and I press my face into his shoulder.
"I thought-"
"I thought she was dead too," I say quietly.
"What did she say?" Kakashi asks.
"She's going to kill my father," I say quietly.
"Why?" He asks.
"She can't tell me."

"Lord Hokage, I need to see my father," I say quietly.
"The chunin exams are quickly approaching," he states, "if I give you time, you may miss them."
I sigh, "I know, I'd hate to miss them, but this is a family matter, Lord third."
He nods, "I gave you a mission today, as you return from that mission in a few days, you can take the time to visit your father."
"However," he says, "you cannot bring Kakashi with you."
I nod, "I know, I wasn't planning to, he has to be with his team."
He nods, "those are your orders, dismissed."
"Thank you so much, Lord Third."

"Our mission is complete," Kakashi says, "we can take you to your father now."
