Jon and (Y/N) sat on the couch, his daughter on his lap. His arms were around her protectively as they watched Spongebob, waiting for Kitty to wake up.
"Ah! Ah!" (Y/N) exclaimed, pointing at the window, where raindrops began to hit. She struggled to get off Jon's lap.
He set her on her feet and looked at the window. "That's rain, (Y/N)."
She seemed entranced, staring out the window. Her (eye_color) eyes sparkled with amusement as each raindrop trailed down the glass.
Jon scooped her up and had an idea. He walked out onto the front porch, holding (Y/N). She giggled despite the gray skies, and he smiled, setting her down on the wet step.
Her tiny hands gripped his index fingers as she stomped in the small puddles, giggling.
Kitty stumbled downstairs an looked out the open front door to see the man she loved dearly and their adopted daughter playing in the rain together, laughing and jumping in puddles together.
She couldn't help but smile and lean against the doorframe, enjoying the scene in front of her.
