21 FLUFF “Don’t be silly. I want to stay up with you.”
It was a quiet spring night, sky full of stars and a warm breeze rustled the bright green leaves. You and Scarlett were lost in each other company, ice cream in hand and goofy smiles on as sitting on a wooden bench in the middle of a park you were enjoying the quiet night swinging your legs.
“Wow, it’s later than I thought” you chuckled realizing time flied, and it was already midnight. Scarlett checked the time on her phone while you admired her gorgeous face in the blue dim light of the display, “I can take you back home if you want.” she offered bringing her focus back on you.
You leaned closer to her before whispering “Don’t be silly. I want to stay up with you.”
Scarlett smiled, her eyes reflecting the moon’s soft glow “But you need your rest (y/n).” You shook your head, giggling “I don’t need sleep when I’m with you. Besides, the night is still young Scar, and so are we.”
With a tender touch, she brushed a stray lock of hair from your cheek “You always have a way with words, my love.”
You sat in a comfortable silence for a while, basking in the beauty of the night. The stars twinkled overhead, casting a shimmering glow on the park turning it into a magical secret garden.
As hours passed, you shared stories and dreams, laughed, and cried while weaving your hopes and fears in the fabric of the night.
“Don’t you ever get tired?” Scarlett asked out of nowhere, her eyes filled with adoration as she gazed at you. You smiled with your heart overflowing with love “Not when I’m with you. You give me strength, Scarlett. You make me feel alive.”
And so, you stayed up together laying into each other’s arms, your bong growing stronger with each passing moment.
As down broke the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold and pink, you knew that your love would last an eternity, like the stars that watched over you all night from above.
