You’ve been touring all around America for a month or so now and it’s been so much fun. After two years of stop due to all the COVID stuff, going back on tour was exactly what you needed.
You’ve missed the fans and that weird mix of emotions you feel every time you share a part of your life with them through your songs. What you didn’t miss at all were the very few hours of sleep you manage to have at night and staying away from your girlfriend. Especially staying away from your girl.
But tonight is gonna be perfect. You’re finally performing in New York, and Scarlett promised she’d come to see the show and later you two would make up for all the time you spend apart with a huge amount of cuddles.
You can't wait to surprise and get your dose of cuddle!
TIME SKIP TO SHOW TIME (cause I can)
“Ok guys! Tonight is a very special one. My girlfriend-” you speak into the microphone as you make eye contact with Scarlet in the crowd “-cameto see my show, so I planned a little surprise for her.” you keep going as a grin makes its way on your lips. In the meantime, a very embarrassed Scarlett is hiding her face in between her hands, well aware that the little smile you’re giving here never leads to anything good. But she just can’t wrap her mind around what you could have planned for her.
All the fans cheers at your announcement trying to find Scarlett in the crowd in order to see her reaction, and that’s when you go back talking “You see, when I met her a long time ago I thought: ‘She’s gonna be the love of my life’, and not to brag, but I was right. Anyway I ended up writing a song about her after the first night together.” You pause for a second smiling at her and at the crowd reaction “I’ve never played it to anyone, I was saving it for a special occasion and I guess tonight is the time. You guys wanna hear it?” The whole stadium starts screaming in excitement, then as the music starts playing you looks for Scarlett’s deep, green eye and you start singing.

By the time you sing the last word everyone starts cheering, Scarlett’s face turns red as she gives you a weird look you can’t really interpret. Guess you’ll have to wait till the end of the show to find out if, or how fucked you are.
The show came to an end a few hours later; you met some of the fans, took some pics with them and they simply couldn’t shut up about the song you played for Scarlett and this only made you more excited to find out her reaction.
As soon as you are done you rush to your changing room and check your phone as you wipe off all the layers of makeup you’ve on. The first think that catch your eye is a text
